If you like the Fresh products one then just get that and do a black spray jobby on it DMR tensioners are worth looking into if your on a budget... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/SearchR...x=dmr+tensioner

Normally, 32 or 36 spokes in a wheel... I dont think there is an average as length varies alot! with a wheel being very individual thing... check with the seller/supplier/lbs and find out the length via them, but wherever you buying this wheel from should sort this out for you... for your own interest: tartybikes can help you, http://tartybikes.co.uk/products.php?product=wheelbuilds (scroll down to find form) If your buying a new wheel, read the details on the rim your buying and it will say whether its 32 or 36 hole p.s You will also need a hub with the same amount of holes in as the rim eg. hub 32 hole = rim 32 hole

Magura 04 hs33 + plazmatic crm's + medium/harsh grind preferably harsh if you have £20 at the end of each month

Tricky... 2 barbs 1 crossover hose 1 hammer/mallet 1 preferably a vice or use mole grips to clamp and the two grey blocks included with the magura service kit... but you may not have these so *thinks on the spot* use a pair of pliers or if your delicate use mole grips on "low clamping force". 1# Place the hose inbetween the two grey blocks, or option 2 grasp the hose with the pliers with reasonable force, use your discrettion, try not to sandwich/ kink/ fold the hose with so much pressure. 2# Now with the hose firmly in place (using the nesaccary leverage to hold the pliers/mole grips down if your not using a vice), as if you were hammering a nail into a piece of wood, take the barb and hammer it gently at first into the opening of the hose gradually hammering it further down again use your discrettion on how hard to hit the barb, try hard to keep it straight and after about 10mins of precise hammering it will be perfect. 3# Repeat for the other side, connect your new crossover into your cylinders and re-bleed. Think that is everything feel free to add/critisise it

What Is The Best-value-for-money Disk Brake?
Jsy Ben replied to bikerboysam1's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I have two mates who both run either double disc setup or just run a disc up front, they do not ride trials specifically but more street/trails all though their bikes are "trials-able" so... One mate runs an Avid BB7 up front, and swears by it, literally, "...f-ing disc for life..." There is ALWAYS postive feedaback on them, but of course with everything that is for a reason... they are unquestionably awesome value for money and brilliant performance . My other mate runs the double disc setup... both deore disc brakes... these discs have the price tag of a cable disc, but the power of a 4pot Hope ! really ! http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=632 So personally im opting for the deore over the Avid... why ? because: there cheap £50- hydraulic (better overall in my mind) personal experience with them and a mount can be added to the caliper for it to be able to take a 180mm rotor, so happy days avids are down even lower... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2617 It appears 05 magura julies are not produced anymore the 06 has taken over (makes sense really) if you were after another 05 but heres the 06... http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=9451 a lil' over budget for you though... -
Some funny bails in there ... I can see theres effort and passion in the riding eg. going out in the wet A better camera would be better.... And editing was ok , average Keep up the riding...

Wide white electrical tape stuck to normal rim tape is how its done just pop into any hardware store...

considering your age, well done dude decent riding all round... basic editing didnt spoil anything... hope to see more from you... p.s Am i right in saying your dad doesnt want his bikes scratched/damaged hence the material (foam tubing type stuff?) around the forks ?

You sound as if you regret it being pink, as apose to more red ? from the "vibe" in your comments on this topic... and how pinkish the bike looks in all the photos excluding the top one... would i be correct if i said the first, top picture does the bike justice in your eyes because it does not look so pink ? so basically if im correct, you could say the first, top picture is practically, almost what the bike looks like in real life ...just incase someone as intrigued as me wants to know, you know woow what a lil ramble sorry everyone...
-
Ali, your bike looks surprisingly stunning... with the black and pink i would have fought a big no no... it is the kind of bike you look at and can just picture yourself jumping on and it riding awesomely... *envys bike*

keep up your practice sessions in your garden... you can notice they make an improvement in your street riding... hope to see a full length vid from you in the future decent vid peeps, worth the download...
-
Affie, nice i like ... but i hope you will put a bash on it ! a big improvement on the t-pro

Before a ride i cram myself full off carbohydrates/protein topped off wth high energy drinks and high energy food: e.g 2 foot of tuna+mayo baguette topped with cucumber and 1 foots worth of chicken baguette, yummy with 2 cans of redbull or red rooster to wash it all down. When riding i eat alot of sugary sweets and drinks to give me longish boosts of energy, no need for more carbs since the baguettes are still going strong Thats my secret
-
ye, be creative what about gathering/taking designs from several companys e.g Echo, Onza, Magura... and taking individual bits from each booster ... that you think will make a more effective booster ... or a cooler looking booster but still with structual soundness and of course show us the final result

Adding to the list: cut your shoelaces inhalf and just do your shoes up really tight wear a vest instead of a T, or cut the sleves of your T dont take your wallet out, just take your bank card... if you dont have one get one ! dont take your phone out with you, just use pay-phones when needed take your viser of your helmet have a haircut chop of unesaccary pockets from your jeans, or wear shorts get rid of muscle where not needed, muscle weighs more than fat remove or sell your nipples sell a lung, kidney or half an intestine funny topic
-
respect I can only hope one day il be up in 8's static wise Chris how long have you been riding ?
-
lmao seriously though... around the region of £150 would be resonable, £150mininium problem is that there getting dated and with the majority of the trials community chosing a low and long bike there isnt much interest still £150+

This topic came up a little while ago, i replyed... ...and got slated big time for my replys ...but since then i have released a short vid showing my riding http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=69053 check it out ...as not for a repeat of last time all gaps are measured ! flat static: 7"5 rolling: car park space static drop gap: 8"4 also note that stats are everything
