  1. Right i think ive crasped the basics of this problem : chain comes off the chainring and gets stuck between the chainring/crank and the seat-tube (tube in the middle,bb up to seat place, that separates the two triangles on a frame) a suggestion for fixing this problem: what about tightening your chains so that there isnt enough slack for the chain to come off ? (suggestion would only work with single speed users) or is it that the problem is that the chain is getting stuck/jammed between the hub and the dropout when shifting down to your last gear and then gradually wearing a hole in the frame there ?
  2. The riding was pretty smooth the music was cool... ...but with a teaser i find fast music and fast "flickers" of riding only giving you a glimpse at the riding looks better, yours was an exception though and i liked it ...good potential for a full length vid keep riding and improving, will defo download your full length vid
  3. Quite a while ago i recall on Trials nation CLS posted his custom "cut out" square holes in his rim... with bright green rim tape of course knew i could find it
  4. nice 06 and 05 pythons "is that a python"... no i ride a black mumba and "Zoo" dont mean to be harsh but does that front disc hold well at all ? saying this im assuming that it is a standard shimano cable disc...
  5. Basic rule i folllow is: tighten spokes on the left and it will pull the rim over to the left tighten spokes on the right and it will pull the rim over to the right just sit down turn your bike upside down or lean it vertical so its standing on your bars... and just spin your wheel... then spend time concentrating on your rim looking for what side it "buckles" to... hope you get your wheel true
  6. From fiddling and playing about with my magura when preparing for a new bleed, i would say from my limited knowledge i have you can only: #1 Cross thread the inner threads, there are two threads liable to this inside the cylinder. #2 The barb may not be tight inside the cylinder, so then you get a leak which would explain the "bite" loss you talk about. #3 The seal at the "bottom" of the cylinder on the piston could break causing a leak and again a loss in modulation. These things are very unlikely though and rarely happen. Magura produce very high quality parts engineneird to a fine accuarcy. More commonly, an incorrectly inserted hose into the barb could cause leaks and loss of modulation. A crack in a cylinder hmm i wouldnt think that possible...
  7. looks are decieving... but i would buy one
  8. not looking her best there but she rides mint ...now with profile+ronnie
  9. wooooh... dont forget FUTURAMA ! Futurama all the way, every day for me
  10. Thanks for the comments guys and i do have a helmet... i do know im an idiot for not wearing it ... from now im goin to wear it ... oh, and im 14 and have been riding for a year going to start a new vid with more, bigger, varied riding in it cheers
  11. 'ello all heres a lil vid of myself riding... ...not particularly "varied" vid , but i hope to change this in future vids so tips where to change/add things are welcome constructive comments about the riding (improvements i could make) are also welcome, please http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/bike-trials/jsy_s_ben.wmv hope you enjoy
  12. agreed but... personal favouritism is a factor, the way you like your bike to ride / how you like to ride your bike... ...do you tend to ride street alot, or uci/biu section riding ? So if your unexperienced with cranks i.e how it minimally afects your riding , go for 170mm since its a "middle" length suiting most riders... If you prefer the sound of shorter cranks and think Quick Spider has a point go for 165mm... If your think i have a better point then go for 175mm... yet again just my thoughts...
  13. hehe "Go for the shorter ones so that you can gap further!" ...not necessarly matt , if anything shorter cranks would meen less leverage... ...and with less leverage you cant create as much power as a longer crank (more leverage)... ...with more power transfered to the rear wheel means you will be able to go further... ...because of the sudden release of energy propelling you higher/further enableing you to cover a bigger distance ...well thats how i figured it
  14. A technical line is amusing/challenging and a nice dangerous drop gap always brightens my day ... ...well makes me feel good at the end of the day ...and thats what counts kool topic
  15. Tarty will be able to do the ZOO! stickers for you, £10 , and if a remeber correctly a little while ago Tarty also said they were able to custom stickers such as the "WILKY" one you want, apolagies if i am wrong... http://tartybikes.co.uk/products.php?product=stickers If your custom stickers dont work out then make some buisness for Monty Boy
  16. no, the forces acting on your back wheel when landing, even from very little height are more than enough to move your wheel backwards therfore losing tension in your chain and then losing energy through the slack chain when kicking , if you see. my explantion of how the snail cam works... snail cams width varys from "top" to "bottom" , meaning if you push the snail cams right round to the "top" there is more distance between the screw in the frame and the snail cam (these fixed screws aka allen key bolts, are available to t-pros 05s) this increased distance moves the wheel back further vice versa if you have the snail cam on the "bottom".
  17. mint spec wouldnt mind having one myself but... not in the colour scheme hes got it personal favouritism
  18. Thats my beauty , not on her best day though profile + ronnie added
  19. Strange... the black dog, (replica zoo! 04 python) has got v-bosses i.e for v brakes, 2bolt maguras
  20. lol yes i see your point, height to distance ratio thing... my average flat gap is unknown to me as i dont measure anything, but i imagine im lying round the average mark: 6ft and i ride a replica python ps: cheers for the respect pal
  21. k....... cheers jay for that On that note, here are the pics of the "big ones" you asked so nicely for, the ones i promised to go out and capture: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c282/jer...uegaplanded.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c282/jer...rbgaplanded.jpg
  22. undercover santa... or yes very lucky
  23. no facts, but if its "painted" the same way, or even better is the same "paint" thats on a middleburn bash you can defo file it off as thats what i did with mine same with the front also, or alternatively you could have tarty grind it off like you suggested you would also have a better braking surface... my mate has the 06echo rim on the rear and his braking isnt good to put it shortly, he has had to use a lil bit of tar... hopes thats helped you to come to some sort of conclusion
  24. I find that quite offensive , but im qoing to stay calm and respectively prove myself, yes i take your point you may not belive i can gap the gaps previously posted but there isnt need to jump to extreme conclusions and call me a bullshitter ! check back tomorrow evening and i will have posted 3 photos of me landing the 3 gaps previously pictured. So in the future i hope you will have some more respect towards me.
