I thought you needed ACU for the tyke trials due to insurance etc? or has that changed. I know when i did the comps you had to have an ACU licence

I know the last time i saw u ride was about 2 weeks ago Luke, and i know Dave was there at the same time. I am backing Dave up, you are quite new to trials and there is no way you can do 2 metres. definalty more like 1 or 2 foot And just to point out 2 meteres is 6.6foot (not to be a nuisence)(sp)

from personal experience i think Kings are very good if well maintained. I had now had 3 and i loved each of them and very rarely had a skipping problem. No they aint perfect and not the best thing since sliced bread but at the same time they are definatly not worth all the criticism they get. The one im running now skipped a couple of times but nothing major. I found when they skip they dont skip for long, they engage almost right away, unless its propar foobared Hopes are great hubs too, a lot of people prefer them but they are just as reliable as any hub out there, including the CK. most people who are using a King now have already used a Hope, and a lot are sticking with the King, thats gorra be a good thing, right?

YAY i'm not working that day so i may have to make it to the only trial i will have a chance to come to this year. Probably just to have a fun day, very little chance of riding so if push comes to shove i think i may have to do my civil duty and observe.........only thing i need is a lift so i may have to nicely ask you Mr Bucky seen as you live so close to me......or even the good man that is Wayne?!?

i was asking my instructor about it and all he does is get you to drive to brid or blackpool. spend a couple hours there and drive back, more of a day out really.......but then i failed my test so thats ballsed that up

Never been myself but it is supposed to be fantastic, lots of street and some good natural at the coasts. This is all from Waynio when he went and from speaking to Danny from Aussie on msn. Only problem is everything is so spread out, so unless you wanna ride the same things day in day out you would have a lot of travelling to do

Put it this way at least you managed to go. i would have gladly swapped places with you seen as i was sat at work All in all it sounds like it was a good day. Shame i missed it really Hopefully be able to attend some of the future ones but not too sure about riding, more likley observing if needed Well done to all who competed, even if they did find it too hard, and hope to see some of you at the next trial
