Buy koxx forks, u must be mad, lol, na i am only considering it as i got the forks VERY cheap, and my grandad is a VERY good welder, so i am sure i would not have any problems fitting the 4 bolt mounts (Y) it is only a tempary thing until i can afford to get a set of smart guys and i can put my Hope Trial brake back on :) Adam
-
Righty then, i have aquired a set of pashely forks, in very good condition, and i happen to have a set of braze on 4 bolt mounts, i am considering welding them onto the back of the fork legs, similar to the koxx forks, i can see this would have the advantage that your pads are being forced into the fork legs, and thus would provide a more power full brake, also it would be alot easier than using Evo mounts on the Vee tabs on the front, what is every ones opinion on this? I know that John Shrewsbury has got his Vee tabs on the rear of his pashely forks on his leeson, but i am sure i have seen a set with 4 bolt mounts on the rear of some pashely forks somewhere too, if anybody has the picture, i would be gald to see it. Thanks Adam

29th sounds awsome dude, um, is Haye Tor any where near Bone Hill? that is where i want to go (Y) Count me in, Adam
-
HAHA serves u right Matt :S (touching the biggest lump of wood near) i have been lucky, in the 3-4 years i have been driving, with various different vehicles, tractors, mopeds and my car, i have only been pulled once, and that was because it was midnight and i had a rear light gone on my moped. I am not the best of drivers, i always speed :"> and drive a little eratic but i have never been pulled over whilst in my car, and i have been driving almost 2 years, so i see myself lucky, in a way lol. Adam
-
Deffiantly dude, i would be well up for that, maybe Bone Hill, as Steve said it was AWSOME up there, just let me know a date :S Adam
-
Fattys are still amazing forks, especialy when u realise that mine, the snapped ones pictured were around 5 years old, yes, that is correct, as they were the original fatty R forks, with Fatty R on the fork legs, all the new ones have moved the breather hole, which is the line at which it snapped further up the fork, so it is now less likely to happen, Unless u are Matt Burrows  Adam

Whilst looking on the new koxx site, every one seems to have missed the new koxx days vid on there, it is quite good, but none of the big riders, hermance, ross etc, that wil be in the second part it says. Right click etc, High quality Right click etc, low quality The vids are 164meg and 34meg respectively, koxx server seems alot faster than before, i was downlaoding at my normal 55kb/s earlier. enjoy Adam

Here we go, finaly some pics of my broken forks Adam
-
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHA i told u to go and check them 2 weeks ago, lmfao, serves u right, all those silly front touches. Here is my little contribution to this topic, i snapped them, after i found the crack, just riding home, lol Adam
-
Yes, Adam you are correct, i have loads of details on these frames, import prices etc the lot, as i was considering importing them, but then found out that it would have cost me to much. Geo: Top Tube:636MM Seat Tube:167MM Head Tube:120MM Head angle:71 Wheel Base:1080MM Chainstays:375MM Material:S6XX Weight:<1900G Those are the geometry stuff i got sent when i was looking into them, so quite similar to Adams guess (the net skills are strong in this one :( ) Any more details wanted, ask as i might have it :S Adam PS: they are made in china, if i remember correct, and to import from there would work out alot cheaper than from new zealand (Y)
-
Um, seeing as they are EXACTLY the same rim, apart from the eyelets i can not see them holding a grind for long. Adam
-
OH MY GOD, u have put my visions into reality, and shit me it looks smart, i bet it is ALOT shinier in real life. Adam, loving it.
-
Awsome pics dude, I see Ben is still a beast, we will have to get him out more often :( Adam
-
At a guess i would say they are the old ones, BUT, they do have an extended disc mount, and they also have slotted disc mounts :- i would get pics, but my sister has got her cam, and is not here (Y) i dunno, it is so annoying. Adam
-
Right, after my ride earlier where i found that i have cracked my Fatty R forks 3/4 of the way around the left hand leg, above the disc mount. This is the second pair for forks i have had break around the disc moutn area, the others were some Echo Urbans, which snapped in the bottom disc tab. I am now stuck with the dilema of what to replace them with, i am looking at the Smart Guy's, but i have been told that Danny Smith snapped a few pairs, so i dunno, i like the look of the new echo Hi-Fi forks, but at £110 i would be pushed to afford them, I am looking at around £95 MAX Any ideas? Thanks Adam

It might hev been mine, unfortunalty i do not have the picture any more, i will do another soon, when i am bored. Adam

Damn my adding up skills, such use is a maths A-level, lol, oh well, some very unlucky 5's in there, as many of my group will recall, lol, ah well, bring on the next round, hehe. Adam PS: may i also add, we all got beaten by a girl, lol, hehe :P

I have to say it was an AWSOME day, sections were perfect, even if i rode abit on the wank side of things, a few stupid fives etc, like every one  Shame i didn't make that up to back wheel in the pic, hooked it, but couldn't keep it to back wheel, the kicker just wasn't happening for me, to streety :D" Tic was storming through the sections, i am sure he came out with under 30 by the end, he was riding very well, especialy seeing that his new tyres didn't turn up in time for the comps :cough:dave:cough: B) Overal, a very enjoyable day, especialy with the little ticcy to go around with :) Adam

Right, my plan is, for stickers on my t-rex i was thinking of mocking the old coustellier graphics, if someone could change this picture so that: Coustellier is replaced with Onza and shorten the length of the sticker to suit, And replace the Saint Blaise with T-rex, and also shorten the sticker to suit, and to remove any bits where it just randomly says "coust" Sorry for the pic, it was the only relitively decent/close pic i could find. Adam
-
Adam Phillips, previously on a silver or black BT 4, also changed to the ever popular awsome t-rex, but mine is better looking than Nicks (Y) I will be riding Blue route, unless i am otherwise convinced (Y) . I will be turning up in my silver/blue escort with my little scruffy friend in with me. Adam

HAHA, someone had to find it on day or another, i found this site about 2-3 months ago, showed Steve, there are some places on there that look very good. Adam PS: hehe, i found it first (Y)
