What about the Aztek wavey rotor, they looks real nice, not tried on though, also, seeing as u have an avid, if u wanted to be a cheap bum, u could just out more washers inbetween the black adapter and the caliper, as this will push the caliper further out and be usable with the bigger rotor, oh, and use longer bolts to avoid stripping the mounts. HAHA joe, u little chav u, lol ME: Wannabe chav You are 18 % chav You clearly know you are not, nor will you ever be anything even closely resembling a bonafide chav but that doesn't stop you from jumping on the bling bandwagon every now and then. There's nothing wrong with a bit of pretending though you'll never be able to hold your own with the true Burberry brigade. Adam

Pads: Koxx Bloxx, Reds Time Used: 6+ hours Rim Used: DX32 Grind: medium - harsh Brake Used: Magura HS33, mag lever with RB lever blade, water blead and home made carbon booster. What is your opinion of a working brake: Must be Bitey, and have alot of hold (i am a bigman u know) and not to wear to fast. How do they compare to previou pads used: I have used a fair few different pads, these are deffinatly in the top 1-3 i have used. Review: i put these pads on, set them up perfect and went out for a ride, nice frsh grind etc, the initial bed in wear seemed alot, more than some other pads that i have used, but once bedded in they have not shown any other signs of wear, even though it has not beed long, i will update after the next week of busy riding calender. They are very bitey, and have a loverly sound, they don't sound like normal koxx bloxx, they are more like coust pads, which is nice, and re-assures me that my brake is working. They hold very well as well, after 2-3 hours of ahrd natural today they have not let me down once, and have always worked when asked. I would deffinalty recomend these pads. Adam

There is a local rider with one, it actualy feels realy nice, it is quite light, and feels very nice on the backwheel, it is abit flexy as it has quite small tubing. The bash that comes on it isn't great, just a bit of bent plate with no gripy bits on it, but i an pretty sure it is just the standard type of bash mount (Y) If u can get one for a decent price i say go for it, be abit different, it is also quite long if i remember correctly, or atleast it looked it. Hope that helped. Adam

Mine was exactly the same Nick, when i had my BT i never had a noisy brake, and i was running an XTR booster all of the time. Also, good job on the drilling for the evo mounts, i did this on my BT and it worked a treat, almost as easy as a 4 bolt frame. Adam
-
Yes, it is deffiantly better than what it was with the mag on the front of the forks, much stiffer as well, due to being closer and bolted to the frame in more points. Adam

Righty then, they are now finished, got my grandad to weld them this morning, i sprayed them up (very roughly) just to make them all one colour again, here is the finished result: The brake is awsome, very bitey, yet it still can be modulated, i am running koxx brown pads with a light grind on a d521 (Y) Adam

I know i have yet to have my first Tee off u Sue, but i will at the ride, i assure you, but, i would have an XXL one of these too, as i like a loose fiting tee. Adam
-
I will be there, Adam Phillips, hopefully along with Nick Vaughan (prawn) Adam
-
Here we go, all ready to be welded up tomorow by my grandpa, who is a legend with a welding torch :deej: will get pics tomorow of the finnished product (Y) Adam
-
Actualy yes they will flex forwards, it is not noticable on a frame because of the way that when your wheel is spinning forward it is pushing the pads into the frame, like a reverse mount forks would, but if u watch a standard fork, u can see them flex forwards. Adam
-
If u think 4 bolt mounts are 100% stiff, u are VERY mistaken, have u ever actualy looked at your forks or frame when u have been pulling the brake as hard as u can, they flex lile hell, every frame or fork will, except for maybe a few like the XTP new echos etc I have yet to weld the mounts on, might get it done tomorow, but should be before the weekend Adam

Just been to my LBS and they have the Race Face XC gloves there, they seem to be what i am looking for as they have very little padding on the palm of the glove, which is what i can not get on with on standard type gloves, they feel very comfortable, but i am not sure how well they will last because of the palm being as thin as it is, these are the ones i am on about: Race Face XC gloves. If anybody has used these gloves and know how well they last, please can u let me know :turned: Adam
