I normally use rubber ones (try-all) so i got some foam grips from halfords for a change and any time i am out in the wet they start turning. I dont use the end plugs as i like to grip the bars at the end so water gets underneath and they turn, any ideas? I thought foam would be better during the summer for sweaty hands

pic pic of the spacer may help you
-
i know that koxx use a spacer between the crank and the freewheel thats what ive got you could remove/add it if its got one or not or go to a bike shop and play around with bb to suit the line thats what i always had to do when i got a new frame the only other thing is buy a smaller rear cog thats thinner ps the wheel is straight in the photos going by the snail cams ie same position its the chain line that makes it look that looking more at the first photo you need shorter bb so the cranks it just clears the frame and a big spacer between the freewheel and cranks this will bring the line into the bike at the cranks i done this on my dob frame

In my eyes they are worded wrongly. Full rotation : is bad foot at the top/forward, down goes the bad foot to get the front wheel up then the good foot down for the spring up thus bringing the bad foot up again and tuck Full rotaion and a half : is good foot at top/forward , goes down and unweighs front wheel ie inch of the ground , bad foot down to lift front wheel high as little effort is required and, good foot down for the spring and tuck andthis gives more height due to unweighing the front wheel i try and use both full rotation for tight short run ups the rest full rotaion and a half just depands on what your used to hope this helps if you use your hands in the sequance that you pedal will also help to choose the one that you use, and always spring up using your good foot which has more power to spring up and bad foot to lift the front wheel as this takes little efort

heres mine if it helps DOB 20" hs33 frame Isis bb 68x118 Try-all cranks Try-all freewhell 108 Try-all cnc rear hub and cog chains is from halfords about 7mm wide is really close to rubbing of frame anthing wider wont fit unless i put more spaces on the freewheel better going to a bike shop and try a few bb sizes to see whats fits best i had a few bb lying about the garage to try and make sure its a narrow bb body as its smaller in the centre of the hole of the bb

Grind Plate Pedals ---what Do People Think?
weebryan replied to Sidehop Stuart's topic in Trials Chat
who needs pins? cages are the way forward and cost the exact same to repalce as pins and the vp's are so cheap anyways -
yea i use snail cams with teeth on the drive side and smooth on the other for fine adjustment and to tension i get a screwdriver and stick in between the frame and axle and pull axle back to desired tension and then move the snail cam to it locks and tighten and then adjust the other side by just pushing the snail cam to square the wheel up Chain tugs are good but they really stick out and prone to breaking if caught and weigh more but no chance of the wheel moving and stronger tension

i still got that on tape will need to watch it again and there was a few other tapes of them, legends ''mmmm slippery its like riding on custard!!''

I could be wrong but adams at tartybikes was around 7.8

yea using dob forks. My old xtp was 8.4kg standard and frame 1.7kg. the dob frame+forks is -500g lighter that the xtp and plus i have single caged pedals square front rim so another -100g so i guess about 7.8 kg and i have monty bars and stem -50g than try-all so very very light and whippy i took the sticker off and was going to put the black ones on but i like it at that
-
i am 5"4 so it suits me better but the back end is so short i took a chain link out and i used to have a xtp and i did file out the square holes took me ages!!!
-
Now i am really tempted to get the white try-all tyres mmmm not i think it would be overkill Rides really nice hope it lasts!
-
just a question : The people that ride only street do you wear more vans type shoes or proper trials? The people thats ride comps and natural what do you wear more proper trials shoes or vans type? Got the feeling shoes caters for the terrain and style of ridding me i go for practibility and go for trials shoes so i have less chance to hurt my shins again

Are Hs33's Better Than Disc Brakes On The Back?
weebryan replied to dantpro's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
i always felt that discs had like a slight delay when locking up so i had to hold the brake longer before i landand didnt always lock cause there suposed to brake in a forwords motion but are good all conditions and quiet Hs33 are quick reaction cheaper and less likely to break with no rotor to bend but hs33 you need a new rim after you grind the hell out of it if your going to get disc get a good set if not stick hs33 they will be much better than cheap discs -
I really enjoyed watching that. was a nice and relaxed smooth vibe the way it shoupld be. Not long to i get my new frame will get out with you soon
-
try going to start - run and in the box type: msconfig go to start2up and only select programmes that yon need running this should help and also try the services and select ones that you use also try righ clicking on the disk drive and properties and tools and check for errors and auto fix and check for bad sectors this will run on the next start up
