  9. looks like their giving stephen speilberg a run for his money. can't wait to see it
  10. Other that what Jonny and Andy have already said, i would say that to make (editing part) a good vid watch lots of videos (action sports related) and then watch them all again and again but on the second, third and fourth time try not to watch the riding, watch the editing. Also look at overall feel of a video, compare... say Contact with Sprung 5, both are very well edited films but they both have a different feel to them, both equally good to watch though IMO. That said im no editing wizard...
  11. site is ok, too much white spaces the pics are ok but the fisheye is not realy being used properly. SOUTH EAST TRIALS CREW its SOUTHEASTBEAST
  12. may have to rustle somethin' up, for the people who havent ridden Folkestone. good to see a new idea like this.
  13. YEAH that vid needs a warning, something along the lines of :DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVE A PACEMAKER OR ARE PREGNANT: Good political vid though, just goes to show what a f**ked reality we and especialy the americans live in> the world is doomed.
  14. WHAT A GOOD TOPIC i would say that the 'streetier' style has dyed out as far as the likes of the old skool riders Lenosky, Ashton, Lance Trappe, Holroyd, Leech where they rode pure trials kinda but because alot of them lived in/near towns/citys they developed style of riding which was fresh from the comp scene and had a seasoning of bmx(not much though).IT WAS ABOUT TRIALS LINES bear in mind that the street/hardtail/aaron chase stylee had not realy been done. Nowadays there is still a street style(i myself am a purveyor of this style as any one who has rode with me will probably tell you)but it is a different type of street syle compared to what was happenig in the late 90s because trials as a sport has gone forward and people are now doing moves that were probably not phisically possible then, and now due to the geometry revolution in frames it is developing its own style(uci/long low and silver) and it is not realy the done thing to do a rolling bunnyhop gap to manuel on one of these bike. That said the stuff they can do: dropgaps big enough to kill your self on is emmense and has got to be good for the sport in some way. So the street style that we have now is alot more bmxy which is o.k. but is and will be in the shadows of both bmx and the long low silver style until people really develop it! So now i am very intrested to see what Mr Shrewsbury and Co have up their sleves for 06. So all in all i dont think the street style has died it has just shed its retro skin and is now growing!
  15. RIGHT: THE LID SITUATION. The way i see it, is that yes i should wear a lid... but the way i ride is quite layedback and i dont realy try things that im not at least 80%ish confident that ill pull. maby this isnt the best way to keep getting better and better at a realy fast rate(like alot of the newer riders that i have seen on here, who seem to get to a good level of riding realy fast.<impressive>) but i would say that riding without a helmet lets you get to know your limits and capabillitys well. So when you do put a helmet on if your used to riding with out one ith gives you an outright excuse to go BIG. The only prolem is when the bike goes wrong, i.e. chainsnap= no human controle. Also there is the bmx theory: i see loads of shithot bmxers doing crazy things with no lid and the seem to have these barbarric stacks, normally at a lot higher speed than what trials is at and they seem to walkaway from it, sometimes even laughing about it(evil barstards). And your head is one of the most important parts of your body so i figure that if i do stack it(human error) your brain is very good at getting you and the other boy parts to protect your head. But still even after all that i would say that wearing is a much safer bet! I might just do that an then sell 'em all on ebay. I also have to give credit to Ryan.H for his(better than joe.n)amazing camera skillz O'doom. big up the f'ston massive. more pics soon. thanks.

  17. arh cheers, yeah i agree 3rd one an 4th one is mental, thats jack, he is mental kinda like Tunni an CLS even he doesnt wear a lid, so that makes me feel kinda safe without one. but thats no excuse. oh yeah... no offence to any one but not one tartybikes style sidehop here.
