I may have rounded the bolt that clamps the xtr lever otno the bars and I've got it out but does anyone know the thread size? It doesn't look metric.

I wouldn't buy a freewheel just because its louder than another one. I've heard some ACS' which are louder than my Eno and it clearly doesn't make it better.

what pads are you running? Just face it discs are heavier especially if you have a large rotor ie 203mm.
