  1. paul and chris kissing in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g I want in on the MSN love
  2. Get hold of AVG Free (search google) or Panda off bittorrent. My PC had 1200 files infected with the same virus/worm when I checked it for the first time
  3. I'll take Mrs heatink up on the younger model offer Happy birthday for the 9th, definitely believe that age is nowhere near as much of an issue as it was 20 years ago, everyones just happy to get on with what they're doing regardless of the age of their mates. I think its cool as f**k
  4. Sorry to piss on your fire but helicoiling IS stronger than being threaded straight into ally because the bolt (the moving part) is not coming into contact with the ally directly, instead you've got a stationary steel insert for the bolt to go into. Helicoiling is used widely in engineering to put decent threads in ally components, there's a youth in another post that works for an aerospace engineering firm and they use helicoils in ally parts so they must be good...
  5. Funnily enough you can buy "Half Links" from places like alans bmx and custom riders. Dunno if I'd use one though with all the torque you put on your chain in trials...
  6. Had V12's on my BMX forever, half the pins missing and you still dont slip off, unlike shitty cage pedals All in though I think Wellgo's are sound, they make most of the pedals mentioned anyway, even do mag for all the weight weenies now
  7. Frames f**ked, sell it me for cheap cheap Seriously though, dry your eyes and get the frame sent off. Helicoils are installed on loads of ally parts throughout the engineering industry because they're a stronger thread than the plain ally. After reading the forums and seeing how many people strip the threads out of the brake mounts I think it's pretty piss poor that manufacturers dont put them in when they're built, for the sake of a couple of quid. Bah, ignore me, I'm rambilng Edit: I think select bikes are being more than fair with you, that's shit hot customer service and I hope you appreciate that. Oh yeah, change your display name to Emo-Kid
  8. Loving GTM coupe's long time It's all about the mini van though
  9. Loads of popular rims and hubs, some may have seen it, some may not but here it is anyway http://www.dtswiss.com/index.asp?fuseaction=spokes.bike Click on spoke calculator on the left
  10. Is it you selling the bike? Didn't think so. Even if he does laugh (which would be a damn stupid thing to do whilst selling something) what have you lost by asking? If you'd rather have your pride than cheaper stuff just by asking, more fool you
  11. I'd offer him £350-£400. At the end of the day I'm always gutted when someone says "yeah" straight away because that means you could have probably got it cheaper
  12. Get a couple of mates together and have a go at free-running, shit hot sport and will keep you fit as!
  13. Or how about saving the money until you break something? Then you can afford to replace it straight away instead of being out until you can afford to repair it
  14. I find pushing crack to kids makes a good living and robbing school kids of their drug money Aswell as that I'm an Electrician, work roughly 9-3 monday to friday and that makes me somewhere in the region of 20k a year (£300 a week after tax) and I've still got a couple of courses to do until I get full pay, not bad for a 20 year old. This doesn't even compare to the money possible on private jobs, a mate and I have just re-wired a bungalow and that made us £1000 each for 3.5 days work, sounds good but I challenge anyone to drink as much tea as we do Seriously though kids, learn from my mistake. Stay in school and get a good education, much easier to get a decent job then
  15. Etnies lo-cuts have a nice flat sole that grips platforms well and they have a nice thick sole for your girly feet you can pick them up for £30 when they're on offer too
  16. That's no reason to hate bmx All you do if someone asks where your seat is, whap your lad out and say "This is where you sit"
  17. If they're definitley pinch flats then try a bit more ir in your tyres and use your knees a little more Otherwise check your rims for any sharp edges/spokes sticking up that could be pucturing the tube. Also never underestimate the importance of a good rim tape, it needs to be a good thickness and be the full width of the rim.
  18. You cant weld ally to steel mate... Helicoiling is the way forward until you can afford new cranks, they're just like a spring that is wound into the stripped hole with a tool (all this omes in a kit) and the spring then acts as a thread. Primo cranks were a f**ker for stripping before they made them with the steel inserts, only downer is that they're a shit design and the insert comes loose and spins when they get a bit older
  19. Cool cheers, not looking to steal a style, just a prediction of where my riding is going to be going
  20. Just thought I'd avoid being ignorant and post up to say hello I ride the kirkby ghetto with tom and dave and as I ride bmx I'm kinda trying to mix the two types of riding together. Anyway, I'll see you around if they let me loose into the main forums
