  1. Yeah, it's very funny. You should get James Porter's results in a minute :)"
  2. Freshwater fish do not actively drink water, but absorb the water through their skin and gills. On the other hand, saltwater fish do actively drink sea water. Their gills process the water and take out the salt. The salmon is an interesting example of a fish that lives in both fresh and salt water, and consequently, they have the characteristics of both types of fish. Salmon are born in fresh water, and migrate to the ocean. While living in the ocean, they drink saltwater by opening their mouth; their gills then rid their bodies of the salt and minerals. When the salmon enters freshwater streams to spawn, they stop drinking the water and instead absorb it through osmosis (osmosis means that the water passes through the cells of the fish's skin into its body).
  3. The price at the moment is £5,300.00 Five thousand three hundred pounds...
  4. Just ride one and then see :) Felix's 1100 measures 1115.
  5. Snail cams :) Or, ideally, the Echo rear hub with integrated cams.

That's whats stated in the guidelines we have been given. I believe it's the same rules for all banner owners, unless we have been given different terms to others.

    Tools

Nope. Which tool are you after? Press? Reaming? Removal?
  9. Thats the best way, yeah, haha <_< I just assumed bodging :)"
  10. Hey Charlie, sounds good! I'll unfortunately not be able to come (got an exam :)) but keep a look out for 97 Bunnies in the morning - they'll be with you before 9am <_< Adam
  11. Who are the other two, if you don't mind me asking? You'll have to wait a good 10 days or more for a reply from Mr Quaing.
  12. Have you had all the relevant bits faced etc? Precision sealed headsets don't tend to like non-uniform surfaces... Does the crown race still sit nicely onto the forks?
  13. - Take the lockring off - Pull the freewheel apart Then: Put it all in the freezer fora few hours. After that, dip the remains of the freewheel in boiling water - this will make the crank contract, and the freewheel expand :) - Clamp the freewheel in a vice, and knock the end of the crank arm round with a mallet <_< Go carefully, or you may strip the thread on the crank arm.
  14. Aah... I see now, sorry! You can rip an old cassette apart and use the spacers from there. Theres three long pins that hold them together usually, 2.5mm allen key head. Cheap cassettes have plastic ones, expensive ones use aluminium spacers... so no worries there <_<
  15. Onza do one, silver shot blasted finish :) I'm running one, no problems at all, seems to be lasting very well <_<
  16. Bolts - Local bolt supplier. The spacers need to go between the cage and jockey wheel on your rear mech... so the freehub body material doesn't make any difference. All you need is 8 M5 washers, once again - bolt supplier <_<

    Spray Job

Looks like your brother did a good job <_<
  18. Does it do it all the time, or just when the car is cold/not been running for very long?
  19. Hmm... I'm well up for this. Will have to check I can 'do' Saturday though. Nice one Dave! <_<
  20. Theres a spacer that fits between the freehub body and the bearing in the hub shell. It sounds like you forgot to put it back in.
  21. Heavy grease will do nicely. As for the forks - the steerer, where it goes into the crown, can get a bit dry sometimes - so, all you need to do is knock the crown race off, and drop some light oil down between the steerer and crown. That'll stop your creak <_< (mine used to do the same thing, and was cured like this :))
  22. Right Click, Save Target As <_<
  23. 17t rear <_< Its as close as you'll get, and it is a tiny bit harder. As for the mech - thats exactly what to do. You'll need slightly longer bolts too. The thread on them is M5. Adam
  24. Very unlikely to be the bar/stem interface. The lacquer on the bars acts as a 'lubricant' Try this: - Whip your stem off - Clean the inside of the stem clamp, and the steerer tube - Lightly grease the steerer (where the stem clamps to it) - Re-fit. If that doesn't work... do you have Echo Urbans forks?
