    rear brake

Oh right, well stil doesn't really need a second booster IMO
  3. Personally, I use the proper stuff (Magura Blood) but I have heard that 'Johnson's Baby Oil' works well, don't know though? Don't use water as it is bad for the calipers and pistons and stuff like that, also you have to mix it with de-icer in the winter which is just more hastle. Sam
  4. Stea.......... Borrow some from a local industrial estate, well thats what I did anyway and I didn't get into any trouble for it. Sam

Why have you got 2 boosters? EDIT: didn't mean to post twice :$

  7. Oh right ok... So who uses echo BB's then? With the new echo cranks. Sam
  8. My computer won't let me view it, sorry.
  9. There are no differences mate! I think you will find that in your control panel somewhere, there is an option to view signiatures or not.... Just change that. Also, it's not really anything to get al upset about is it. Sam
  10. An Avid disc doesn't necesarily save £££ over the hope mono trials..... I don't think
  11. Oh right :$ Didn't see that. So is it worth spending £45 on the internal one? or is it just going to break? Because if it's just going to break then I might as well buy a cheaper BB. Thanks, Sam
  12. Can't you fit a front free wheel on the external ones then?
  13. Cheers guys, so you are saying to go for external. If it is stronger, it is better for trials? Does anyone have one of these external BB's? If I also buy the special BB tool, do you think my LBS fit it for me or is it an easy enough job to do myself? Thanks, Sam
  14. What skips all the time? A Profile or Eno/Tensile?
  15. IMO disks perform better and also look a lot better. Although a well set up rim brake can be just as good. If I were you I would go for the Hope XC front hub and Hope Mono Mini/Trial front brake. That's what I did/am half way changing to do. And it is ace Hope I helped, Sam
  16. I am thinking about getting new cranks and BB some time soon; I have decided on the new Echo cranks, but for the BB what is the difference between the internal and external ones? (Except the big price difference £20! ) Will there be a difference in performance? Thanks, Sam

    New Vid

Nice video, well done! The song went well with the video too
  18. I have the 20" version of those rims and I just used some wet 'n' dry paper to rub it off, try that and it should work mate! Sam
  19. Just out of interested, are you using U-brakes for trials? If so I have never heard of that before... I wouldn't expect good performance from them at all. Sam
  20. Quote from Bike Trial UK If you look around the web, quite a few other sites have detailed explanations of definitions of trials riding, I will have another look later and if I find more, I will edit my post Sam
  21. Pedal of Honour is sooooo crap but some of the others do get a bit addictive sometimes. Sam
  22. I won't have my new front brake, but I might be able to come in the afternoon..... Hopefully my disk will hold up 'til then
  23. Deffinately hydraulic all the way!!! Disk on the front, Rim for the rear. Cheers, Sam
  24. Only 1 so far, and hopefully won't again for a while! I snapped my old Planet-X Zebdi at the bottom of the seat tube/downtube..... just snapped clean through!!! I was so surprised when it happened. I could see the BB shell too.
  25. There's no best bike and no worst bike mate. It all comes to personal preference, but we can give opinions.... PERSONALLY, I think Montys are great bikes and I know that there are many others who will agree with me; However there are also many others who will disagree. So if I were you mate I would buy the Monty, but at the end of the day IT IS YOUR CHOISE. Hope I Helped, Sam
