  1. There's not a whole lot to discuss - they're v-brake adapters, they work fine. I have some on my bike right now. They give you shitty leverage just like any other adapter out there. If you want max leverage you gota make 'em yourself.
  2. Sounds pretty solid to me. It's plastic, so I'd imagine the TPA would strip out/break before the lever.
  3. I'm sorry but that looks filthy. The wheels are too small for that frame. It looks sick as a 26", but the 20" version should never have been conceived.
  4. And then bend everything? I can't see that working out too well on a trials bike. A BMX is one thing, but a trials bike definitely can't handle the same kind of abuse.
  5. Yeah seriously man. I despise english, and yet my spelling and grammar are 100x better than most people who post on this board. You just have to take a couple of seconds to think before you post something that doesn't make sense.
  6. It looks like Bonz cranks to me, although I could be wrong.
  7. Unless it's in the washing machine?
  8. First off, the Deng lever blades don't fit on the old (which I believe 05s are?) levers. You get a 7% leverage increase, as posted by Tarty in another thread.
  9. The blue on that Belaey looks like shit IMO.
  10. I had a King, friend has a Pro Trials 2, barely noticable.

    Simtra St-1

Outstanding. I'm loving mine. I going dual disc, got the brake, wheel should be here soon. I'll update on how that goes.
  12. They're really not that great of a tire like everyone else has said. The Minion DH Super Tacky is an outstanding tire, and although I've never ridden one, the Try-All looks really similar.
  13. That is a horrid translation ... So far either the second one posted here, or mine on OTN are the most accurate translations.
  14. I swear I already posted this... (if a mod removed it, I'm sorry) I'm just curious as to why you chose 24" over a BMX for street/park type riding?
  15. The only Torx bolts I've ever used were the ones on Avid discs, and they blow chunks. I also switched mine to Hex heads. I've never rounded an allen key bolt.
  16. That kid is a friggin' machine. I saw a vid recently of a 9 year old who was doing tailwhips and shit equally as nuts.
  17. I've also had to wait a bit, but he always sent my stuff, warrantied things he didn't have too, and gave me good deals on things because of the wait.
  18. Haha it's vees guys. And no it's obviously not the bleed. You can see the frame flex like a madman when you pull the lever.
  19. Unless you did something freakin' insane, I can't see it taking 6 weeks to heal. I've broken plenty a toe, the most recent time being the worst, and I was on the bike in like 1 week. Walking, that's a whole other story.
  20. Lately I've noticed my booster (Salsa Carbon, on a Simtra) has been flexing quite a bit. I like my brake to be f**king stiff, and every other part of it is damned expensive, so it's a waste of all my money if my brake is mushy because I have a shitty booster. I want to hear what boosters are stiff as f**k. Has anyone tried one of those 74Kingz boosters from tarty? They're damned expensive, so they must have something going for them...
  21. BMX is awesomely fun. Hopefully by next season I'll have my pimped out stock (which I already have), and a decent BMX, just to change it up.
  22. Probably BECAUSE people are sending back shit like that to be warrantied. When you use something it's not intended for, and it then breaks, you shouldn't be getting it warrantied - it's just gonna break again, because it's not intended for what you're using it for.
  23. You can score the rim with a knife, which apparently has the same effect, or better, than a harsh grind, but it eats away at pads faster.
  24. Unless of course you want to ride comps, ever.
