  1. if i remember rightly its the a6010 from notts to mtlock then keep following the sighns for matock till you see the turning by the pub on your right before the bridge. takes less than an hour from notts anyway.
  2. put you hs 33 lever on geez. rb ones are awfull!
  3. they should charge postage from on line shops, because there prices are too cheap and the normal ibd's cant compeat on prices. i say to iradicate this problem. dont buy from the internet call in to your local friendly bike shop and buy it from there. S they may cost a little more. but there is no postage, no postage to return it if its falty and you get to talk face to face with a guy that knows whats goin on. also it keeps us hard working cycle shop employies in a job! lol rob
  4. man you just must have masive legs, who breaks a chain in a week? do you do grinds on it or sumat? i got a kmc kool its neary a year old. i never break them and i run quite a hard gear. a few less weetabix i think! rob
  5. get it helicioled iv had a few frames done, it makes them better than new. try a small motor bike place or somewhere thats were i get mine done. bout £5 each i think. rob.
  6. not the case simon, im saying that when i know about somthing because its a fact thats it. end of story. i will listen to what the tfc's say however wrong they may be. i still know i was right in the first place. fish and tater rob
  7. thats basicly what i was trying to say wayne only i arnt as good at putting in to words. i a gree with every paragraff, and i dont say that very often. haha. if i offer an opinion on here it is based on 6 years riding comps, 5 of those years riding world championship comp's in biu and uci. also the last 3 years riding the uci world cup, and several french cup rounds. basicly what im trying to say is. i base what i say on a lot of experiance, not just having been street riding for a bit and being a wiz on the internet. if you can pick on on someones spelling then you obviously aint that interested in what you are reading about, because so far as i am concerned that is irralavent. im not posting again as every time i do it make's me more and more angry with the know it all people that give sarky replies. fish and tater yes he is actually quite good with the kidies! lol no honestly he can tech pretty well, doesent just ride aruond and say copy me. actually walks through with a rider giving him pointers talkin to him etc.
  8. yes nick, i am friends with dan and dave and have been for many years. That has nothing to do with it. as for tinted views and and sponsors products being better. we both have compleatley different sponsors. and can i just say that if you dont have a bike and you dont ride, then how can you comment on any of this anyway. that is a prime example of a tf cock. ranting on as if you know every thing when as wayne sayed, you know nothing. o apart from how to use a computer pretty well and of course how to spell better than anyone in the world. for all the genuine guy's out there who are interested in trials, and want to learn about it, and use this forum to do so, then please dont be put off by some of the ill informed bullshiting people on here. who dont seem to know their elbo from their arse!
  9. clash with the first essex round and even more unfortunate clash with my holiday to scotland. doh! would have realy liked to have ridden that.
  10. I agree with what dave, dan and wayne are saying, If all your gonna do is turn up to a comp and be negative then dont go. So people swear. So what if you dont like it dont listen. Before you start to complain about someone swearing out of frustration let me just say a few things. Imagine you are a top world elite/master rider. You dont work because you need to ride full time to stay competetive. So to keep riding you need a sponsor, and to keep a sponsor you need to ride well. Also you are in the trials comunity's public eye. Everything you do/say to do with trials is scrutinised. Now just imagine the pressure you are under to win/do very well. so as not to let down sponsors/ fan's,/get dissed on the internet,/generally get put down. I find it very hard to belive that if any of you were under that kind of strain not to make a mistake, you would not swear if you did. Also nick you had better start working on gettin rid of a reputation as a narrow minded guy that coments about somthing and someone he doesent know anything about. Mark, o0 dear i have nothing to say to you that would not result in me getting an even worse reputation on here, and that wayne did not alredy say. Well guy's that my 2 cents woth, so as after most of my post's i shall no awaight the slaggings off. Thankyou. rob.
  11. this is gonna sound bad, concidering we both ride for select bike's and so on. but who is porter? i never met the guy i dont think and i been ridin a few years now. sorry if i offend you geez but i had to ask. rob
  12. try it again with your new cog, if it still slips tyr a chain, if you still bashin you balls then replace you rear cog aswell thatway you gotta have got rid of the problem. i have bike's like that in the shop i work in all the time it is just a case of "trial" and error!
  13. -i have said it before and i will say it again, -this is i trials forum, -what does spelling have to do with it? if spelling ,punctuation and grammar get's you off then go and start a forum of your own. where everything is spelt perfectly, you all play scrabble and meet up to read dictionarys together. -in the mean time remember we are here to talk about trials, riding a bike, having a laugh, or a laff, (not the correct spelling but you all know what it means) and not to talk about spelling. its a completely irrelevant subject. just as i'm sure if the is a forum for sad f##ers whom love to spell, non of the members would be able to ride trials. rob
  14. i just been outside workin on my van and its well cold, so hopefully the water section will be frozen over by tomoz! lol! sounds like a laff, hope its not too muddy though, see you guy's tomorrow. rob.
  15. pretty sure i got an old megamo one piece suit somewhere. its loooovley, its about 6 years old so may be a bit on the small side!
  16. no need for scuba riding. surely you could make 10 sections without having to make one a wet one. or do you just like seeing us all get soaked barbra? looks like il be packing my wetsuit then ans some spare socks. lol
  17. think im gonna go, depends on if i can find the place. does the 15 pound on the day entry include membership for the rest of the year? cuz i havent had an entry form or anything through the post this year from tyke trial. cheers rob
  18. P,A is rife in the vidio's mate. and believe me that was the tame stuff!
  19. it says the sections will be a bit easyer than biu ones? normally they are harder at worl cup's. and seen as kenny cleaned the final at graz in the rain. i think it may need to be harder. lol. a note for the guys that wanna camp. i called 3 camp sites today and 2 were full so you gotta book now man! see you all there fella's
  20. i posted mine too but i aint on the list. see you guys all on sunday then, think me dan and ben are godda treck down in dans old man's sprinter. yer man! shagig wagin!
  21. i thought you came out a long time ago!
  22. sound s mint, i think i will come if its ok. it will be mint ot ride a man made trial.
  23. Evening sportz fanz, Just a quick up date on the world cup. The trial at Graz consisted of 6 Big level zones, rocks, logs, cars, skipz pipes and cable drums Rob, Aust, Andrei Burton and Slinger made qualification to the semi final (in the pissing rain) In the semi the sections got alot harder again. Danny Butler finished joint 4th with Thomas Ohler to qualify for the final. The rest of the brits stuggled with the dangerous sections. In the final the heavens opened and the trial was a wash out. Some of the sections I thought were nigh on imposible in the dry yet Kenny and Vincent managed to go round on 0 an 1 respectivley(it was absolutley insanly dificult and dangerous in the rain). Danny finished 7th in the final. It was a good atmosphere though out the whole event esspecially within the "British Team" who were constantly cheered and suported each other. Today there was a seperate trial where Ashley Butler won the Under 13 catagory after a tense run off which eventually went up two riding catagories. Well done Ash. John Evans
  24. too rite, it was locked because the truth was getting out.
