  1. Right then, i know the forks are white but they are going black, but the bike build is complete Just done the finishing touches and taken her for her maiden ride and i love having a bike again Will be staying brakeless for now though! 2. Oh they will be going gloss black too :') just haven't got round to it yet!
  3. So, currently waiting for my tires to turn up and thats the build done for now Keeping it brakeless for the time being. But very happy with the build I've done for the money I've had! But here's some pictures to show
  4. Got replacement end caps on their way with the wheels Ross, managed to order two Schwalbe Crazy Bobs from Germany, brand new for £12 plus a tenner postage :') so pretty chuffed with that! Tarty orders turning up tomorrow, also with wheels and forks so should have everything together, bar the tires tomorrow! But thanks everyone, just need to get it together!
  5. So, with forks on their way it's time to look for wheels. Purchased these from one of the members on here which they're pretty much exactly what i was after Hope Pro2's on Spank rims! Final step is bars and stem and I've got a full bike! EDIT : Just placed an order with Tarty. just need tires now and I've got a full bike
  6. Rest of the build, front end wise, looking for a high front end, Inspired high rise bars, few stackers, ideally, short stem, steep angle, not sure on front wheel yet. Rear end, Hope Pro2 on a nice double walled rim, tire wise, Maxxis Holy Roller or Schwalbe Crazy Bob. Mr Purdon (Skoze) has just popped over with some generous goodies! Inspired pedals and a Federal seat so every so grateful for them! Thats about it for now so shall see what the coming months bring!
  7. Yeah keeping it looking smart and clean! Today i received my cranked off Mr Travis so again, gave that a spruce up lick of paint and get them on, decided to put some Inspired logos on the cranks but is a bit too much so took them off! Slowly and surely getting there! Just waiting for my forks to arrive now and we're half way there
  8. Yeah i was in the paint section and really couldn't decide on a nice colour for it to be! So stuck with the safe and blacked it was the best option, but yeah, for a can job, really surprised on the finish i got!
  9. So, been a number of years since iv'e posted on here, so hello everyone new and old as summers coming and a fellow few mates are getting back into riding, i want to take a break from modifying my car and get riding again! Originally had a blue Fourplay so felt right to get something similar. After scouring the forum for a while i came across Ian's Arcade frame that had been welded on the upper stay for £100! So snapped that up while I could. Got it through the post today and couldn't be happier. so with a fresh respray and some new graphics, got it looking lovely again and a perfect base to start with! Also got Arcade crankset on the way with some Inspired Team forks too! Updates to come!
  10. Cheers Matt i was stuck for the choice of this anthem x or the 29er version of it. I feel iv'e made the right decision in choosing the 26 over the 29er

  12. Has to be one of the best weekends I have ever had. Met so many new people and made so many friends. I do not regret buying a 24. Best decision I have ever made.
  13. Shall see you all bright and early tomorrow morning for everyone who is there tomorrow and the rest of you Sunday morning. Make it a good one.
  14. Weather looks in the clear for both Saturday and Sunday.
  15. Matt, hopefully have that Saturday off work too so if I do, I will drive us down down there and back. Will hopefully be nice weather!

Coming along nicely. Get some riser bars on there!
  19. Yeah i found that i was trying things i wouldn't do with brakes. Tried barspins but that didn't go down too well and i made them with the router cutter in my shed. so i'm sure i could knock you up some for thee summer.
  20. Thank you Mr Rainbird, i'm giving brakeless a go at the moment. It's my idea of, if i don't have brakes i can't bail But yeah them bottom set of inspired stickers came out massive like 4'' tall letters, there massive, and have sets in black too. But it finishes it off nicely.
  21. So, after deciding my frame needed some stickers and i couldn't get hold of some white inspired ones, i decided to go make my own so here's how they came out. .
  22. Well done Joe, amazing riding as always. Ride sooon.
  23. Such a lovely colour! i'm thinking of going brakeless for an while and see how I get on. But what a lovely bike, how does it ride?
  24. Got back in from a really chilled ride earlier with Skoze and i must say that front end change has made such a difference. So much more easier to pull up and i feel way more proportionate to the bike now rather than being stretched out a lot with my old stem. Here's a quick picture of mine and Matt's bike from today's ride.
  25. Yeah my stem before just way too long and it made my bike feel massive. But I haven't had a chance to ride it yet with tr new front set up, but me and skoze are riding tomorrow so I will let you know tomorrow what it feels like. But the front end of Deffinately higher than before so should feel a lot better to ride. Just need some inspired stickers on the downtube and will be it for now
