dangerous_dave
Hi, i have been looking into hubs a bit more recently, specifically the higher engagement ones (i.e the hope pro 2 trial), the only problem is that they are all 6 speed (apart from the chris king which is way too expensive) or so far that i have seen.does anyone know of any high engagement (30 or up) that are 8/9 speed compatible?thanks, Dave

Concussion
I don't think there are any? What's the problem with a six speed set-up, surly that's plenty? You could easily take your old 8/9 speed cassette apart if that's the problem? Or go for the Hope xc/mono which has 21 ep's I think, many riders used and loved that set-up for ages? ilikeriding
wasnt sure if it was being use for trials as I cannot see why you'd want 8/9 speed.

Luke Rainbird
6 speed will give you plenty of range to have riding gears, as well as a couple of trials gears
