No doubt many of you have endulged in bank transfers between accounts.Basically, money was transferred from a TSB account, to my Halifax account, on sunday afternoon, online. It's not in my account yet. Can anyone tell me how long it takes, as i have heard it varies depending on certain circumstances... If it makes any difference, it is 5k.Answers would be very welcome.(i would google it normally, but i'm extremely busy in work, for a change, and just have time to check back here every half hour or whatever!)Bongo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure what happens if you go over a grand cos Barclays won't let me transfer more than that in one day online. You'd expect to see it moved by now.Fear not though - if there's a problem the banks will sort it for you. The £5k won't just disappear into the web forever! They probably shouldn't have but i gave them details of the person giving me the money and they found out whether his account had an outgoing transfer limit on it.It did, but only 10k, so it's all good.
