Hi everyone. :D

I have a new dual disk Echo Lite! I now have 2, but only one rear brake and adapter.

Anyway, the new one's spec:

SPEC:

FRAME: 2007 Echo Lite Long, with home made disc adapter.

FORK: Pace XC Carbon Fibre, cut down to Mod legnth and rebonded.

FRONT BRAKE: 2007 Monty Hope Mono Trial 160mm.

REAR BRAKE: 2007 Monty Hope Mono Trial 160mm.

FRONT WHEEL: Standard 2007 Monty TI in White. Half TI spokes.

FRONT TYRE: Try-All.

REAR WHEEL: Standard 2007 Monty TI in White. Half TI spokes. Nipples changed for lighter ones.

REAR TYRE: Monty Eagle Claw.

BAR: 2007 Monty TI i White.

STEM: 2007 Monty TI.

HEADSET: FSA Equipe Pro.

CRANKS: 2007 Monty TI.

BOTTOM BRACKET: FSA summat, hasn't been out of the frame yet.

FREEWHEEL: Monty 18t, 72EP.

PEDALS: Wellago Magnesiums.

GEO:

WB: 1020mm.

BB: +55mm.

It rides unbelievably well, I thought my other one was good, this is outstanding.

It did weigh 8.9kg, but I put my adapter on and added a rear disc, so its, er. 9273g now. :$

I weighed my other one which was pretty light, 10.1kg!

Big shout out to Craig R (trialsalot). He sold it to me, and even drove it here. It was great to finally meet him at last. (I also bought my short Echo frame from him).

Also JonMack, he swapped rear discs with me.

Anyway, pics are called for.

that's pimp weren't that the bike on tarty when you go onto echo lite frame?

Yeh it still is! I have the rear maggy, I am not getting a new rim yet I am trying to decide, disc or maggy.

I think disc, but I have a maggy to test out. I have only ridden it for about 2 hours so far, and it was ok, just horribly loud and then it rained.

 ! i thought the old one was nice. forks look mint! you riding comps next year? if so which ones?

Tom (Y)

YMSA on Blue I think.

Did I meet you last year? I met Josh and I think you may have been there.

Thanks for all the loverly comments!

oh my god... this bike... mint

Was dreaming of a spec very simalar to this, obv. not with those forks but

Lite 08 disk, which looks the dogs

double 203mm BB7's (if didnt rub on frame)

Then the rest of the components from my bike

But that... is fit as f**king f**k! Lite's are so under rated! I seriously think they are the best mod frame out there atm!

PAINT OVER THAT GRIND AND CHANGE THEM FORKS THEN THAT WOULD BE WHAT I CALL THE MOST PERFECT MOD EVER!!!!!!!!!

The forks are staying! They are pure sex and 677g!

It is the most perfect mod ever.

Pity it's so heavy, I was hoping to rival Tarty Adam, but alas, his is 8.6kg, this is 9.3. Which sucks.

I have to say thats really nice

But why two same echo ?

I have too much money, it was cheap, the spec is completely different, (much better), It's much lighter, it's a long, (I was planning on changing my frame to a long on the other one), it looks better, it's in nearly new cond...

I could go on, but it was worth it, trust me.

Prefer the long though? its still short enough to bunnyhop the long?

When are the 08's out now mr. Lite king

I think the 08 is out now...

It's not LONG long, I measured the WB as 1020 when I had the spare Echo forks fitted.

I much prefer it to the short, it still feels short without being cramped.

I only have £200 left now. :(

I was saving for my motorbike test. I think the other echo may have to be sold at some point to raise funds.

I already told you what I think on msn :$

Looks so nice!

Get us a pic of both lites together :P

OK Jonny, just for you.

I just gave it a stroke from Adam Griffin. He doesn't like the forks because he's a bit gay I think.

We're going to go down to the lounge for a cuddle in front of the fire and watch some telly, back later.

I think that maggy is also a bit special. It is one of the limited edition white ones, absolutely mint, no marks on it, with an Adamant blade, Echo clamps, Rock Pads, And I filed the lump off that the bolt screws into and replaced with a cut down nilock nut.
