and no it wouldnt work on a trials bike as a brake lever

why?

Theres enough machinst's out there, it would be that difficult for someone to make an adapter from a standard magura hose to a bigger, motorbike hose to fit on that?

I guess the real question is why. Its probably heavier, gives an excessive amount of pull on it and damn expensive....

if its designed as a clutch lever on a motorbike then its designed to be pulled all the way into the bar whereas a trials bike brake only moves a small amount compared to this.

if you look at the distance between the piston pivot and the main pivot its smaller than a normal magura brake and the lever blade itself is longer that what we're used to so you'd have to move the lever further to move the piston the same amount, however you'd get loads more power this way.

if it was set-up properly it would probably work but the window for getting it right would be very small.
