Gloves?

twinky trials

Recommended Posts

Rode with body geometry gloves for years, have tried riding without them (foam grips) this week, and seems loads better!

Think the palm heel pad thingy gets in the way a bit. Seems to put more pressure on that bit rather than less.

Might try a set of hebo trial gloves... opinions?

So for trials is a padded palm no good if so can you give me reasons why.....its to cold at the moment so i am also looking in to getting gloves.....

Thanks

Dave

Its a similar feeling to riding with massive spongy grips on. Less control, less feel.

Just find a light mechanics or welders glove.

I have demoed everything from the NRG to the Fox to the Nemisis Project gloves and i still say that mechanix gloves are the best.

10 bucks from Princess Auto.

So that would be... 5 pounds, a thrupenny, 2 pence and some otherstuff thats really complicated.

you still get blisters or what ever they are with gloves, it just slightly protects them and keep them warm. I wouldnt get them if i were you but its your decision, i got mine for crc, Kona something. They have carbon knuckle protection on the back and meant to have kelvar material (0.5% or something and i've already made holes in them).

Specilized BodyGeometry gloves, just bought myself a pair. The look brilliant, wind proof, warm, thin aswell and quite cheap.

Don't go with specialised gloves they are shocking, rip so so easily from my experience of the last two pairs I've owned.

Personally I use Hebo Teams Trials, would definetly recommend them. Otherwise go with a good quality brand such as Fox or some 661 gloves.

My last 2 pairs have been great, they were the basic £19.99 model with little/no padding.

i dont wear gloves anymore and find i have better feel/control especially when modulating brake lever..

but back when i did wearthem i had some yellow/red fluoro HEBO gloves and a pair of "bosco" gloves bothe were uber thin and gave great feel at lever. Im guessing modern hebos are the same, if so get them. Havent seen any bosco gloves in yrs.. shame, they were lush!!
