Jake Beach
It does not matter if it is front or back for 26" rims. Have a look at this http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=87 echo one on tartybikes.

Jo Prattley
Get a pro 2 on an echo rim like me ive had no problem :0 theyre both really strong and reliable hubs
Adam Fisher
well if you want a really strong rim make sure you get a double walled rim.
spartan
for mad strength if your running vees get a dx32, with disc or magura the Echo 07 (i think their called the TR rims now) are the best period.Pro II hubs are really really nice if you want a freehub, for fixed get a surly or echo with a monty or white industries freewheel. Ben John-Hynes
Hope Pro2 and an Alex DX32 rim= WIN! I use that set-up and it's amazing, Bombproof!

ADEN_ECHO
I would have to vote for an Echo rim in this situation. They may be heavy but they make up for it in the strength As for a hub, if you are wanting to run a freehub then a Hope Pro II is the best value for money option but if you are willing to spend a little more on a hub they you can't go wrong with a Chris King On the other hand though, if you are wanting to run a front freewheel then a monty, koxx, viz or trial tech hub will do the job perfectly. With a rear fixed hub you will want a good front freewheel, I would reckommend an eno if you can afford it but if not then a tensile will do a very good job Aden :)
Muel
I'd go for a Pro2 Trials and an Echo rim if I were you, but if you want a really strong rim, have a look at the undrilled TrialTech one.
adam 94
I'd say a chris king or a hope pro 2 on a echo rim, its lasted andrex a long time and it's still going.

Jordz
chris king if you can afford it ( or pro2 if you cant ) on an echo rim...preerably 32 spoke set-up as this makes it easier to upgrade in the future
