Spokes

DT Swiss are supposed to be the best. But getting them is pretty hard, and they come in limited sizes and mainly stainless over here. The Viz, Trialtech and Mutiny are probably all the same, along with the other bmx spokes. But some spokes are different. Unfortunately 174mm isn't common at all so it's going to be the same spokes again.

DT's or Sapim are good, they do dozens of different ones though.

My builds got a 10/10 in MBUK once and they were built on DT Swiss Competition spokes.

The triple butted DT's (Alpine) are the strongest in the world but I wouldn't expect many shops to carry them in stock. They cost .65p each in silver only

The double butted Competitions are spot on and retail at .85p each for black and .60p each for silver.

DT are fantastic. no probs what so ever.

sapim are lighter, spokes sh*t hot but their nips round easily.

i'm using sapim rear and DT front.

I've always found them short stainless nipples to be wank. Literally so wank. The alloy nipples i use allow more tension than them without grease!
