0zzy Posted November 22, 2008 Report Share Posted November 22, 2008 Always wear mine, saved me from many head aches first day i bought my lid i had so much confidence trying stuff which was new and innetive (sp?) to me anyway :L and i slipped off a decent sized wall hit my head on the floor and the lads i was with were pretty sure if i wouldnt have been wearing it i would have been in trouble from that day on i aint ever been on my bike with out my helmet. mike137 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 Personally i never used to bother unless i was downhilling, then one time i came off and dragged my head along a few good sized rocks etc and ever since looking at the damage i caused to the helmet (which could/would have been my head) i have worn one ever since.Full face for DH (and some light body armour)Pisspot for trialsNormal style for riding to work.Also have a few mates who have been saved one hell of a headache by wearing lids and some who have had stitches/concussion due to not wearing one.A big fat yay from me:) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
