I'm thinking of using this guide : 2.Can I really spaz it up bad enough to be rendered unusable or can I fix or revert it if it goes wrong? 3. The tools are all so well tested (even the downgrades) that you'd be very unlucky to brick your device. The jailbreak is worth it. Lawnmowerman Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 Obtain a copy of a 3.1.2 firmware Go into itunes and plug in your ipod Open the ipod tab SHIFT-Click the Restore Find the 3.1.2 FW Open it and let it do its thing. Daborn Meister Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 As lawnmower man said, find the 3.1.2 software and put it in a folder you know, click the restore button on itunes but hold shift at the same time, it will ask you to find your corresponding software or something? It will take abit, but don't unplug it! Blackra1n and redsnow are both preety good, make sure you get it all from decent websites though, red snow comes with its own sort of guide but takes abit...
