onzajorge
Hey... I have a Onza Pro and am bein asked why i went for that instead of the Rip, Blade or Comp? But to be honest I', m not sure on which i better? Any solutions?
Maladie
Well it's a few models up from the rip, and i don't think the Blade is worth the extra money. But the comp is quite alot better than the Pro, only downside to that is you have to pay an extra £200 or so

dann2707
The pro seems decent. Not keen on the colour me but thats just personal preference.
Revolver
This sounds like you're saying 'I bought this, why did I buy it?' which is a weird question.
SamKidney
You having problems with the hub bearings? Ive serviced a mates Pro a few times and theres been almost nothing wrong with it. Oh, stick a magura on the back of it too
monty-james
Im not really sure what your question means, it doesnt make much sense. It seems with Onza that what you pay for is what you get. If you dont pay much, it wont be brillaint but if you pay alot you'll get a pretty good bike. Thats how it seems from what ive heard/rode. Draw a conclusion from that i geuss.
Maladie
Oh, stick a magura on the back of it too I just put an Echo TR on the back of mine and it works great, so much more bite and better hold than the disc.
Twitch-119
This sounds like you're saying 'I bought this, why did I buy it?' which is a weird question. Wet myself laughing when I read that bit. Sorry back on topic I had an Onza T-Pro (hence the name) and loved it. Don't know if the geometry is the same, but many people have recommended the Pro. Decent price for what you get I reckon, well mine was. [reason for edit: Spelling] Edited January 20, 2011 by T-Proboy13

[reason for edit: Spelling] I don't think the geo are the same as it's quite an update in frames! Don't count me on that though... it is onza haha Edited January 20, 2011 by dann2707
SamKidney
I think im right in saying its a +55bb on the pro? Not sure on wheel base or reach, but ride surprisingly well. Much lighter without the standard discs too. Fork change also lightens it further
onzajorge
thanks to everyone for the help ... am looking at TR's front and back for it too. Yes it was a weird wuestion sorry bout that but ... i love riding it ... when it not chewing my bearings up its lovely to ride but just wondering whether other Onza's do it too or not? I been through about 3 sets of bearings now. (all open though) cheers
LukasMcNeal
I would highly recommend you get sealed bearings! You seem unlucky to have gone through 3 sets! They are extremely low maintainence compared to opens, no fiddling about with cones either
