Not new to bikes but its been a good 15years! a little help?

Phase's are pretty good bikes for learning the basics on though the problem with that one is you're gonna start off having to get a new set of cranks which could be anything from £20-50 depending if you buy trials specific and when you get to the point where you want to progress you'll basically have to buy a completely new bike as there's not really anything on that worth carrying over to a new frame

Right, so I can't afford a whole bike right now, so I reckon I'm gonna build instead.

On the lookout for a cheap frame to see what's about.

In the meantime this is my daily hack....95 kona painted white with on one carbon rigids. Recently shaved 1.3kg off of the weight by changing a few bits (not wheels).
