uk24
To run a front brake through the steerer. If it means having to bleed the brake and all that stuff i can't be bothered but can it be done without bleeding?
AdamR28
Yes, if you have a cable disc, or you are careful. Give us a call if you want some instructions.
Mikee
If you are really careful it can be done, but when I used to run my hose through the steerer, I always gave it a super quick re-bleed just to be sure. edit: Beaten to it. uk24
Do i just need to be careful not to tip any fluid out? whats the key bits i need to be careful with?
Mark W
I generally found that using the TartyBikes way of doing it the only thing I might need to do is top up the reservoir slightly but that was it. The easiest thing to do would probably be to give them a buzz like Adam suggested before - it's pretty quick to talk through
Ali C
I just point the lever vertically and don't knock the hose, I don't usually have to bleed, I think I've topped it up once in about 20 procedures.
uk24
Think I might give it ago later and see how I get on.
waybe2014
When I did mine it was more difficult as I had to remove the olive from the braided hose to get it to go through the top cap. Depends on the brake and top cap I guess. Inspired top caps are better.
uk24
I got the inspired forks and top cap so shouldn't be to hard to feed it through, when you say vertically off the bar and clamp pointing down and lever pointing towards the sky.
