Greetings
I've got a 3mm plate of aluminium which I'd like to change the colour of, something like in the picture below (this is titanium): Is this even possible? I don't need a rainbow, just any colour different to silver will do.
lewis.jackson
Its possible but you need to be extremely careful and need a steady heat.
LiamWood!
You would be better having it anodised in neo-chrome.
forteh
Aluminium doesn't change colour when heated, it just melts which is why it can be a pig when learning to weld it. Nothing stopping you anodizing it yourself, very simple to do and pretty inexpensive.
