Big Rims In Leesons

It should be ok, never had the experience but maybe read about how wide the doublewide is compared to your D521, then do some measuring, if it doesn't fit, either do some sort of bodge (or get a thinner tyre) or be screwed.... :-

Good luck anyways hope it all works out, nice new wheel btw B) :P

I ran a 38mm rim when I had it and the cylinders were spaced out quite wide. Clive built it to be able to run a 521 or a DX32 when he positioned the mounts.

How wide is the doublewide? I'd guess you'd need to run worn down pads or move the mounts - Give Clive a call, I'm sure he'd move them out for you.

I phoned clive up last night to ask if i could fit a ronnie(38mm) in my leeson. He had never heard of an onza ronnie, so he just told me to move my pads out all the way and just measure the gap in beteen the pads. I measured and it will just about fit in mine. Are your mounts moved out more like some peoples are on request? if not tell me your results.

Its a real coincidence that you have just asked this, lol
