Stripping Paint Of Rim

okm as some know my rear rim is bright green :P . i want to strip it silver so it matches my bike. now i dont really want to debuold the wheel. so was thionking of painting something on it (caustic soda?) and then just powerwashing it off? i know the rim isnt anodized but will caustic soda work? as i feel nitromors may take some time... any more help...

caustic soda wont do anything to it.

I am afraid nitromores is best, not too bad really just buy loads and pour it into a tub or somthing and rest the bottom of your rim in it for a while, then turn the wheel a little bit untill the whole lots done.

use B&Q paint stripper, prob the same as nitromourse, its got a thick gel texture than you can paint onto the rim and it works real quick as the paint bubbles up after a minute or two and then you can powerwash off

just be carful when stripping the rim that you don't get anything near your hub :P
