Cheap to buy.Or just ring up a few local car mechanics/ engineers or whatever and they can tell you or not if they have a helicoiling set and a m5 sized helicoil (which is rather small for them).Or bike shop. CC12345678910 Posted October 19, 2006 Report Share Posted October 19, 2006 I'd recommend u get some Ti bolts, they are £8 from supercycles(they're the only stockist I know of, there may be others), I haven't had them round off And they save u a bit of weight, especially if u run 4-bolt maguras. If not go get it to an enginering company and get them to helicoil it.If the bolt is dud erm logic says new bolts duhIf the head has gone, screw drive, bang it in push down on and undo it, spraying lots of WD40 on the aera to help it losen up! If not drill it out and then tap it out with a reverse bit, it has thread going in the opsite way, as your undo the bolt it's infact pulling the bolt out as it's screwing into it!
