Grind My Rim With These Pads

hey

on my new bike there is some red pads already on it and i duno what they are, they look like the echo pads but a darker red and i was wondering if it would be ok to grind the rim without changing the pads because im real low on money atm because i just bought this new bike lol

any help please (Y)

If so, your much better off buying new pads. You might get a little bit more hold if you ground your rim, but changing pads would make much more of a difference.

yeh i know what meen mate i dont want them for the noise just for the braking and yeh in time im going to get some plazmatic pads, i grinded my rim today just a light one and it works ok not the best but will do for now

Jesus, just because it makes a noise doesn't make it good

Personally I HATE loud brakes, but I'd rather it was a decent brake, but made a gay noise, than was shit and silent

Perfect and silent = win

Rear disc :P .

Anyway look on Tartybikes and go to brake pads to see what you like. A good set will cost you around £18.
