That ridiculous. I could say crms on a smooth ronnie are good and a hog is the same material (Which it is and ive even been told by the man himself) And since theyre good on a hog theyll be good on try-all cause thats the same too (Which it most definately is NOT) Just because they look the same doesnt make them the same rim
  2. Theyre not the same compound at all then Just a little change can ruin a brake pad. The echo pink are alright. Really good on a ground ronnie i found super loud squeak but they wear out extremely fast. If your destined on a smooth rim then get echo pinks ive ordered some more. My last set i cant really remember how good they held since i only used them on a smooth rim for a few hours. Also what rim you run makes a significant difference
  3. You do realise to a extent that's true . I would go for one after seeing gaz thrash his i think it'll last ALOT longer then the 06 rim that lasted him a few hours

They are setup really well, and theres nothing wrong with the rim as its brand new, try-all's are relatively soft grade alu thats why the plazmatics arent too good the D521 are a really good grade thats why you had a good brake and it is relevant on smooth rims as much as it is on ground, Danny Kearns grinding significantly weakens the rim and since i like to run a set pressure as any normal person would it will make a difference Thanks lots for all the help and suggestions so far but my mind is set, im not grinding my rim and i do need a change of pads, echo reds are looking good or i may try heatsink snowys.
  5. Alright, I've just got a new rim from tartybikes (awesome service) and im using some plazmatic crm's and my brake to be honest is totally crap it has no sound no bite and hardly any hold which isnt really a good thing in trials. I know if i grind it my brake would be good but then id be back to denting rims (the reason i got this one in the first place) if it helps its a new style fluro rim, ive checked the brake pad thread but couldnt find anything. Anyone got any suggestions on what pads to try? i would go for zoo but theyre not made anymore!. Thanks in advance
  6. silver trek helmet mx-2 or something the name is called, but sprayed it pink looks pimp now!
  7. that monty freewheel look sexy, has anyone used one yet? 72 click cant be that crap surely, my tensile is 60ish and thats good, so 72 should be even better than that.
  8. personally i think its all to do with your videos you make, and how often you make them, especially how well you ride.

the gold nut is titanium its just to save weight i guess. snap easy and also round of easy aswel.
  10. this frame look realy nice and tempting to buy for my next frame, hope someone local gets one so i can have a play on theirs to see if i like it.
  11. i run a monty 05 stem with zoo bars and they feel amazing compared to just normal small monty bars, wide bars are laods better than short bars, plus the stem is just the correct rise, or try zoo bar and stem they also feel nice and comfatable and the back wheel!
  12. if you are a begginer i suggest a zona zip realy easy to get used to, if you are a small hight and like natural the monty, but iam sure the zona are much cheaper aswell.
  13. i also have never seen this before, or anyone who has some on there breaks, i should emagine there good if you happend to catch youir hosing on a sidehop like i have previously done and rip the normal magura hosing.

  20. ive heard about these beast rim, have not tried one yet thoughm bacically because i just got a new tryall rim instead, but i know someone who has a 26" echo rim and that is amazing, the sidewalls are massive, can take about 3-4 before its even back to the normal 06 size stonrgly syggest getting one, o yeah and i seen damon watson do a massive drop gap dent even dent, or damage the rim in anyway.
  21. i love that coulour gold make a bike realy stand out!
  22. personally i dont think red forks and a green frame match very well? what i do like is the though of having your frame grren though, but you have definately got to find the right shade of green fot it to look beautiful.
