  9. Basically as in the title, are they any good? I have some lined up second hand for 45quid with try all tyres. For that money is it worth getting them or should i save and get some echo lites? cheers tom
  10. because one of them is on holiday, so they are to busy to build wheels
  11. That is very nice, I love those frames considering one myself when my t-pro dies. I was wondering how its standing up, although I think that i have managed to make a bike stand on its own, with the front wheel at an angle before. tom
  12. Spots, they annoy me sooo much, I have managed to avoid them for a long while by washing my face twice a day with 2 or 3 different anti spot creams etc. But one night just one I forget, due to being drunk and i have about 11 of the things on my face Its just not fair. tom
  13. They are pretty insane, some of those drops look huge. Sidehops arnt to shabby either. tom
  14. I have an onza T-pro which I recently decided to run bashless, in doing so I noticed that the bash mount on the bottom (the one that holds the rubber block to the bash) was getting in the way wen i feel to bash etc. so i sawed that off. But after I sawed that off I realised it looked really good and clean, so proceded to sawing all others off. Then I realised, the one that hold the back of the bash to the frame bridged a gap and connected the cnc bits to the bb shell. Now this has gone do you think my frame will die very quickly?? cheers tom.

    The Bell Law

Personally if someone walked out infront of me, my instant reaction would not be, o I had better ring the bell, it would be to shout get out the f***ing way. I just find it to be the most rediculous thing I have heard in the last few weeks. tom

    The Bell Law

I read in the paper this morning that soon it will be illegal to ride without a bell . If you break this law you face a 2000 pound fine, and up to 2 years in jail. All this because 12 people have been killed in the last 5 years by peple on bikes. please discuss tom

  19. I own a mini on the back of my jump bike, and the bite doesnt feel to good Im not sure if this is because its due for a bleed though. saying that I have never tried either of the other hope so I dont no if they are all like that, but I have tryed a magura loise fr and that had amazing bite. How is the bite on the other hopes? tom
  20. Errm which one? as far as I can see none of them are the V8 copys, they will need to look like these The welgo V8 copys do grip well, although the bearings in mine lasted about as long as an antolope in the lion cage at the zoo. ( yes that is a crappy metaphor but I couldnt think of anything else) tom
  21. With BMX rims the chrome makes the rim heavier, which is not so good for trials. Also as previously mentioned the chrome is rather slippy in the wet. tom
  22. Yea V8s are great. Get them from HERE tom
  23. Modified (20" wheels) Pros: Superb standover clearance Easily manueverable in most every circumstance, especially anything rear wheel Less expensive Less parts to break Nearly impossible to bend the rim of a well-built 19" rear mod wheel running enough tire pressure Learn to sidehop up to both sides without worrying about a rear derailleur Cons: Some people may think it's a BMX bike A pain to ride more than a mile or two on May be harder to find parts for it Harder to roll down things Easier to go over the handlebars (but less scary when you do) Doing wedge or wheelbase moves is less comfortable Stock (26" wheels) Pros: More stable Bigger wheels = roll everything easier Easier to do wedge or wheelbase moves Easier to pedal-kick on odd surfaces because of the larger diameter wheel You can ride to your riding spot easily (if you have a seat and working gears) Looks more like a mountain bike People won't ask you to "grind" stuff or think you do BMX vert or street Cons: Bigger bike = less standover clearance = pain if you fall on the bike Easy to hit knees on top-tube of most bikes Less room to work with for bending down before sidehopping, bunnyhopping, etc. or when absorbing landings More expensive because of greater frequency of breakage and more parts to break Rear derailleurs - easy to smash into things (though most bikes have replaceable derailleur hangers that will bend before the derailleur is broken) Wheels - 26" size = easier to get out of true or taco (20" wheels are extremely hard to ruin when built and used properly) Chain can slip down or up a gear while you ride if your chain is too loose, or you smack your derailleur in section and break it Heavier
  24. hey mate that looks nice. Are you goind to run a rear disk? If not couldnt you just run your 10mm rear hub but without the dropout mount/adaptor? tom
