Just watched it, and loved it. Great riding! Matt.

Downloading now, but if it's anything like the last one then it should be great! I will watch tomorrow and comment then, because it's late over here in the states. Thanks for posting. Matt.

If you contact Avid, they will warranty the arm or send out some replacement parts. They're really cool about things like this. Matt.

Great find for those who haven't seen it. Matt.

Hey everyone, I just found this on the web. Don't know if this is a repost, and if it is sorry. Pretty crazy anyway, check it out. http://www.crankk.com/story.php?id=75 Matt.

I have a BT raven 6.0 short/1065, that I am riding now. I used to ride a PX Tibo before the BT, since I switched to the BT my riding has gotten so much better. Mainly because of the shorter chain stays, BT= 375, Tibo= 390, this makes staying on the rear wheel much easier. Other than that the length feels the same in the cockpit. The BT has a much more durable frame tubing than the Tibo or most any other bikes that I have seen, they add more gussets where is needed for stiffness and on the downtube for the accidental miss of the bash. I highly suggest the upgrade to the Bt raven, weather you go with the 6.0 or the 7.0 you will not be dissapointed. Matt.

For someone who is just starting out, mod will be much easier to learn the basics on. Stock is more challenging with the same moves as on mod, so if you like a challenge then get a stock(my preference). Mod is usually more affordable in the begining, seeing as you are on somewhat of a budget I would say go with a mod. Matt.

Hey rav, Will the frame also be available with V brake mounts instead of maggie mounts? I really like the horazontal dropouts, I think it is the best way to go if your running SS, which most seem to be doing these days. Frame looks great, BTW. Matt.

Can't wait till the new season. Best show ever, woohoo! What do you all think is going to happen in the new season? Lets place some perdictions. One perdiction that I have is that Michael is going to come back and save people. Another that I have is that another plane is going to crash. Matt.

Are you using a Mac? If so there is a glitch with iTunes and many other applications being open at the same time. Something with memory leakage from iTunes that causes it to freeze. If your using a PC then I don't know. You could check apple discussions on the apple web site and search for the issue that you are having. Matt.

Also check which wire you are using, meaning are you using firewire or usb 2.0. All the new iPod's are using usb 2.0 vs. the older iPod's that were using firewire. All I am saying is to check that you got or are using the right wire. Matt.

Hey man, The BT Ninja is a very extreme geometry, the main thing that I would worry about with the ninja is the chainstay length. The chainstays are very short, they are the shortest stock/26 chainstays on any bike. The usual chainstay length is between 375mm to 385mm and the ninja is 365mm. Stock bikes are more challenging then mod, meaning when learning the same moves on a mod vs. a stock you will learn it much quicker on the mod then the stock. Also mod is much easier to throw around then stock. If you want more of a challenge then go with stock, but if your still learning the basics then I would probably stick with mod. Though stock is my prefered choice for trials, so if you decide to go with stock, just about any frame out there will be a good choice just ask people what they think about the choices that you have narrowed down. As for the BT, if you like that bike , I would look at the 6.0 frame. That is what I ride and love it and it's the best ride I have had yet, and I have had about 7 trials bikes. So good luck on your hunt, Matt.

Yeah, I just figured that out about 2 hours ago. I went to the advanced menu and only saw the AICC and couldn't find the AIFF one, then I thought I should check the preferences menu and then I saw it in the import area. Now I feel like a total dumb arse for not checking that in the first place. Anyways thanks to everyone that posted trying to help me out. Thanks again, Matt.

Yeah, I read somewhere that I needed to convert the song to AIFF, I also read that I could do this in iTunes. I went into iTunes into the advanced section and all I could find to convert to is AICC, if you could tell me where and how to convert to AIFF. I am running quicktime 7 and am running FCP 4.5 HD though I did not purchase final cut I acquired it, but everything works fine with FCP except for adding songs, though I think that is my own stupidness. Matt.
-
I tried what you said, but then I realized that you probably ment to do this in quicktime pro, which I don't have. The only quicktime pro that I have is what came with the installation for FCP. I don't know if it is possible to access the quicktime pro alone without using fcp? So if there is another way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt.

Bump. Anyone? Matt.

You should check out macmall.com for the same price as the apple store or from apple direct but you get multiple upgrades, whatever you want to upgrade. Matt.

Hello everyone, I have finally started messing around with my final cut pro that I have had for a while now. I am haveing a problem importing a song into fcp. I have tried (in iTunes) selecting a song and converting it to AICC but that doesn't work, though I read somewhere that I need to convert it to AIFF, I am not sure if that was a typo though. Either way when I convert it to AICC, it copies the song and does not change it from mp3 format, and I downloaded the song so i can't simply insert the cd and go that route. The song was not purchased off iTunes BTW. Please tell me what I am doing wrong, and if there is an easier way to do this. Also I heard that there was a plug-in that will allow to use mp3 format instead of comverting it, though I am unable to find it and I am not sure if it exists. Thanks for all the help in advance, Matt.

If you have the music on another computer and are trying to transfer it using the iPod then I can help. If not you can still try this way or the second way I say. First way is to plug the iPod into the computer that you are taking the music off of. Open itunes, at the bottom of the screen there should be an icon of an iPod, click on it. This will open a new screen with a couple of choices, one of them will be called "enable disk use" click on it/ check box. Once this is done find your iTunes music folder in your hard drive and copy it onto the iPod, not updating it but copying. If you have a mac then it's as easy as click and drag the file to the iPod icon on the desktop, if pc then I am not sure if that will work the same. Then plug the iPod into the new computer and open the iPod image on the desktop and their should be a few things like notes, contacts, and in the mix should be your iTunes music folder, click and drag it to the iTunes library, this will copy it to the hard drive of the computer. Second way is, enable the disk use the same way as above. This allows you to add songs to the iPod one at a time at will. The idea is you may or may not be able to do the oppsite, meaning drag songs off the iPod to the computer. Haven't tried that ever, good luck. The way I learned to do this was looking on apple.com and searching "transfer music from old computer to new", have you searched that yet. Also, I also have seen on some iPod modders websites that they have written a plug-in or program that is downloadable to do what you are trying to do, though I don't have any idea where it is anymore it was like 3 years ago. Matt.

In PA theere are quite a few riders. I know of around 10 or so in PA areas. 4 or 5 in Philly. Here in baltimore, which is about 1.5 hour drive from philly there are 4 of us. So you should have no problems finding riders. Hit me up when you come around. Matt.
