Well ive been riding my holroyd for a while not had any problems since i went to a FFW(ENO). Ive destroyed 2 24seven hubs, and 2 profile mini cassette hubs. Never had a problem with my profile BMX tensioners. And wheel are just as stong as any other 26" wheel. In all fairness i havent tried a deng hub, got to annoyed with the other hubs failing i went for a ENO.

In all honesty. Try all tyre's are where its at. best tyre for trials out there.
-
Then im glad i dont ride it Na no idea how he managed that one, unless he was running a 73 in a 68 frame?
-
Short answer - No You may notice it, but aslong as your going to a good quality hub, you wont notice any difference unless you concentrate really hard
-
I removed the top of a bricked bollard in Ivybridge - was about 9 or so bricks and a square diamond shaped slab. So picked it back up and put it back on the wall and rode off

Think it looks soooooo nice. Loved the MBKT1000 frame, and this is even better!
-
There we go, afterme not being a lazy tard. thought i saw something one tarts about them being 73mm
-
That would be pretty sweet if you do make it down Porter! Shame the forcast dont look to great "Variable cloudiness with a brief shower or two; breezy" Ohh well bring on the riding... if my bike is fixed by then
-
Its around 1055 with the fatty's BB Shell is 73mm i believe. In all honesty its only one frame out of the how ever many that snapped(that i know of), its more a case of paranoia. Im sure Ali C will back me up on that, and here are alot of other frames that have had worse cracking stats, but then its your choice.

Yea but i knew exactly what was causing it, so it didnt annoy me. Anyway fixed it last night bike works perfect except my bent rear wheel, no chain, and brakes that aint sent up properly! -
Isnt this like not out for another 2ish weeks?
-
I know a few people who used to run a Koxx Brown and a Koxx green(i think, or may of been a koxx blue) and worked really really well, and was super loud.

Untracable creaking. After you have stripped and regreased and seated everything, and it still creaks! -
The Zeniths are really nice(ask prawn). Very nice ride and have that sweet Geo where you dont loose bunny hopping, but feel realy nice on the back wheel, but thats just my opinion.
-
still owe me for that dude! i could do with money ill bully you on saturday for some of it! Chips add me to MSN cause cant be bothered to upload them EDIT - I would of added you, but no MSN addy. Mines your_muther@hotmail.com

Do you think he realises that he could of put this int the For Sale forum?? Then linked to his e-mail or ebay?.... Or would that just be to sensible?
-
Hehe, well to behonest you cant really ride a high bottom bracket bike like a street bike(thats the reason all street bike have 0BB rise!) But the 07 adament would be good as well(except for the 116 rear spacing not being suitable). And I ride a 24Seven Holroyd, and not a huge huge fn of high BB's but i do like them, as well as low BB's(ok just read that back and it sounds like im talking shite... but it makes sense in my head). But for streetish trials, 20 - 30ish seems just spot on.

Hey Ali, Added you to myspace. Bit easier then e-mail(suck with mails). Well we are meeting up around 11:30ish at the top of town(near the uni by the copthorn hotel). Easiest way of getting there is from the big sundial, head in the direction of Virgin and BHS, but keep going, on the left hand side you will go by the armarder centre(sainsbury is above it) and then youll see a big is play ground. Speak to you later. -
To behonest, you would prolly be better lookingat something with slightly less BB rise then the 06 Adament, something more like 20mm - 30mm, Just so you dont lose the bunny hopping ability, and it remains more streety. Something like this?

Well if your wanting to get in to trials, but not really sure where to start, there should be a few people out in plymouth riding on saturday(ill be there definately). Best thing to do is scab a ride on our bikes, find out what you like. If your just starting out, mod is the easiest, but you should cope fine on a stock. As for starter bikes, try and spend a little more on it, you will then get a better and more enjoyable ride from it. the Onza T-Pros which are a mod, are great bikes to start on, and have very good frames, so you can upgrade the parts as and when you want/need to). Check Tarty bikes, or other banners for them. Saftey gear is really personal choice, for starters i would recomend shin pads, cause your feet will slip off the pedals, andpossibly a set of gloves, help save the skin when you face plant. Add me to MSN if your up for meeting on saturday(it in my profile). And welcome to the forum Darren -
Well to be honest the lever is reb, but the tim and the bars are pink.... matches my new shoes so see if i care!
-
Im currently running pink bars with a pink zoo lever, also running pink pedals and a pink riim. rest is all black. Ohh and i have pink and black vans slip ons to match
