  1. what you do, is get on your bike, pedal really really fast at a wall, and dont stop pedaling, youll either turn, or seriously injur your self.... either will help.
  2. No, thats the simple answer. you would need to run a mech or tensioner, and a single speed kit on a hub.
  3. Use the Avid! so much better then your hope!
  4. To be fair this lass would get my vote!
  5. Currently running 18:16.... but so tempted to get 18:18

  8. Well i may be there as well... if my bike is fixed. little surprise for you all
  9. Mine was breaking 2 wrists and an ACS freewheel, on a 7ft drop, sent me a foot in the air, fell about 8ft face first to concrete, bloody lucky as i didnt wear a helmet in those days Most recent bad one, is gapping... landing one footed, with a nice gash down the front of my shin. Lovely! And i still have blood on my shoes!
  10. Id suggest the Echo rims, i cracked my try all ones after a few months
  11. The first problem i had was getting a working bike, after breaking it all the time. As well as being a lonely rider, and not much to ride.
  12. In all honesty i dont tend to think of it going wrong, i basically watch myself doing it in my head, then just aim to copy that. Tend to forget what might happen if it goes wrong. But the best excuse ive ever heard is probably "ohh theres to many people in the way." When there clearly isnt anyone in the way at all!
  13. Biggy come plymouth, i want to play with your simtra! If i get my cranks back brofre then that is
  14. Give is a few days to bed in, my magura disc took a few days hard riding to bed in.
  15. HA!, sorry... Thats completely suckage, but so funny at the same time! How your bike is sorted soon.
  16. Aslong as i get my cranks back, ill be there!
  17. Well mines last about 6months, getting some new ones, at xmas, but my rear still has about a months of use in it. And the grip is worth the sacrifice in life... in my opinion Edit - english is terrible
  18. Get a Try all sticky. Know a load of people on mods swear by them, and i wouldn't use anything else on my stock.
  19. Well I have one, and I personally have had some problems with it(but this seems to be just me ) But other then the few problem ive had, i love this bike, it is the most fun and well balance bike ive ridden. Granted the fron wheel can be slightly heavy, but youll get over that in ohhhh.... 10 Secs. The only thing you really need to change is the gear ratio... but i believe 247 can do that for you and make it slightly lighter then the 18:12 that comes with it. Other then that most of the changes have come from personal preferances. Ohh and beweary of the tyres, i had what seem to be single ply tyres with mine.
  20. You do realise that he just said, what Tomturd did dont you? That it would be nigh on impossible for you to have the same IP, thus you must be the same person, and that it is also possible to log out and then back in, in less then a minute. But you are right, he is talking sense.
  21. In all honesty, its his forum, he can do what he likes

    Tapping,

From what ive been told by many people(Gavin Bedford, Adam Bessel, Ash Kennard to name a couple of the really helpful out there) "Just hit your front wheel into it!" Just try not to go to low or slow at it. And still trying to get the timing right, but its coming along!
