Right, Ive Had Enough Of Sweating Like b*****d !
Sam Nichols replied to Joe Papasnap Maher's topic in Chit Chat
Just thought I'd confirm that the stuff my mummy bought from the chemist works! ;) Top banana. I'll get a piccy of it after college so you know what to look out for (Y) Seriously reccomend trying it  -
Don't worry dude, us Guernsey riders still know where it's at - none of this UCI gubbins :S It's funny, Luis and me were thinking about making a vid yesterday and talking about whether you'd make one or not. I'm downloading it as I type though (estimated time left: 2hrs 22mins, gotta love dial up :P) It's getting quite worrying now... There used to be plenty of street vids coming out and some really stylish riding going down but now it seems I just have to wait till theres a vid comp so I can get my fix of street style (do the goon etc). Ah well, keep up the good work man - hopefully your riding will encourage more people to ride with such style and pazazz, I sure now it inspires me :P Will edit when I see the vid, but basically i'm expecting to be typing something along the lines of 'WOW, AWESOME, DONE IT AGAIN BOON' or summit like that :D Sam.

I sweat loads and laods and it's realy shitty at school wearing a shirt and stuff and you feel really self concious! My mummy got some stuff from the chemist though, it's like super strength anti sweat and it doesn't smell of anything so you can still wear your fauvorite smell (Y) I'll see how it goes tomorrow :P -
ooh ooh me me! Pick me! (catch you on msn dude (Y))

What Was The First Trials Bike You Ever Had?
Sam Nichols replied to Trials Star's topic in Trials Chat
First trialsy ish bike was a barracuda ghetto with marin rigids and triple chainset (mm bent rings!) My first PROPER trials bike was this... Sexual. -
Like people have said... The quality will be shit and you won't even use half the stuff there... Plus, the ironic thing is you'll have a huge set like that with far too many tools you could ever use on a bike, but, you'll also be missing most of the tools you NEED to use on a bike... I'm thinking cable cutters, bb tool, crank extractor, chain tool, chain whip, headset press, spoke tool etc etc Basically if you want a set, get pedros, park or something along those lines - make sure its a bike specific one!

New members won't be able to follow that guide to the letter though unfortunately. This is because they don't get gallery space. You can use the bit about the actual posting though  Sam. P.S. Here's me (old pic )...

As oppose to front hops on the back wheel... (Y) From the way I read it... he wants to know what type or bike riding is moat damaging to frames and parts.. Hence this part... Says to me that he thinks trials is the harshest discipline >_< Personally I think it's big ass freeride - huuuuge drops and gaps!
-
I don't fully understand your post Pinky, doesn't make a lot of sense really. However I dunderstood the bit where you said you're not allowed to be paid... and well if you read my post instead of just quoting it you will see that I said that >_<
-
A guy over here has a bike chain around his ankle that looks sweet >_< But if it's simply a chainring and an outline of a bike... thats's never going to get dated!
-
Dude, I'm sorry but I really can't take you seriously! This whole topic is about how much you should charge and what template you should use. Yet you tell us that you CAN design sites and that the company CAN'T pay you. Surely this means that you DONT need a template and that you CANT ask for money... since the company isn't allowed >_< I smell contradiction in the air!

Your best bet's to PM him mate

Did you even read my post? Or just quote it for fun?

I highly reccomend a pack such as this... In that you get... Hex wrench set, 1.5mm to 6mm. Cartridge bottom-bracket tool. 8 and 10mm open end wrench. 9 and 11mm open end wrench. Cable cutter. Screw-type chain tool. Crank-puller and 14mm socket. Double-ended cone wrench, 13 / 14mm. Double-ended cone Wrench, 15 / 16mm. Cassette lockring tool for Shimano® FR-5 drivetrain. Pre-glued patch kit. GearClean™ brush (not shown). 32mm headset wrench and 15mm pedal wrench. 36mm headset wrench and sprocket-chain whip. 8mm hex wrench. Triple spoke wrench. Tire levers. Which is basically EVERY tool you will ever need and it's brilliant for if you go to a comp, go away on your bike or go to a big ride - it means you can roll it up and chuck it in your bag ;) Jobs a goodun :P (ps, about £90 - real good quality though, workshop standard )

If I'm honest buddy, you sound like a bit of a tool - if you REALLY had gone on courses and you actually COULD do web design you would be able to make a simple site for them no problems. However, if I was you I'd just go for a simple simple basic clean neat looking site... Two frames - main on left, sidebar frame on right with navigation buttons Nav buttons open content in the main frame. Nice logo at the top (even better if they have their own). Pastel colours usually look nicer and more professional. Jobs a goodun.

Cheers for the replies guys. I was always gonna get a Leeson and it was actually Clive who suggested I think about 24inch. So I've no worries about the quality or paint jobs or anything like that. From the sounds of it though 24 would be a great way to go... So I reckon thats pretty much made up my mind ;) Many thanks guys
-
Heya... The topic title may be a bit confusing but basically this is how it goes... I ride a 26 inch normally. I am 6ft 1. I'm thinking about getting a 24inch (leeson fluid around 1030 wb) but I'm hoping for some advice (Y) Basically can you let me know how you found the switch from 26 to 24. I'm interested to know if you can gap same, further or worse - same with backwheeling. And the more obvious one... how much has your style improved? I really like the idea of 24... I'm just worried about not liking it!

If you cant get into messenger or hotmail then it's likely someone has guessed your password or looked over your shoulder when you typed it in or summit like that. Have you tried getting the password by answering your secret question? And the most obvious one... you ARE typing the password right aren't you? And you DONT have caps lock on?

It's not hard to find out how to make most explosive devices. I remember the days of anarchy online where you could share all sorts of different methods of making devices such as 'bollock-busters' (these we're designed to assault a police officer carrying a riot shield as they could be thrown under the shield!!) Making all manner of bombs and explosive devices is common knowledge now that the Internet is freely available. In most cases as with the nuclear bomb - you WILL have big problems getting hold of plutonium! And let's face it, if you know where to get hold of some weapons grade plutonium you're NOT going to need to search the net to find out how to make the bomb anyway! My favourite is napalm though! All you need is petrol and polystyrene!! P.S. If anybody would like some anarchy related ebooks full of tips and hints on how to do everything from kill a man with your bare hands to wasting your local libraries consumables budget... Get in touch!! (Y)

Not entirely true, practically ALL dirt jumpers use horizontal drop outs and a helluva lot of them use discs. Might not be that brilliant fro trials though? I'm thinking of the force of the disc break pulling the wheel out of place? Have you tried phoning companies like leeson and curtis and talking to them really nicely? You never know. Clive (leeson bikes) will to a certain extent however you're pretty much having to stick to a preset frame design and just making tiny alterations. Always worth asking though :P

hmm, suprises me really... I had a pair of plaz pads on the rear of my norco when I had a grind and half the material wore down in a week or so!! :) Since I've had a smooth rim it's worked better and hasn't really worn down at all. Agreed :- Although it depends on whether you are mentally affected by certain things. Personally I don't find it makes a difference - I've used tar with blacks and koxx on smooth, koxx on grind, heatsink on grind etc etc But basically my plaz is silent and works like a bitch :P
