Cos you've never ridden it. Rob, have you ridden SS/fixed ever? You'll probably change your mind once you've done a hill on a fixed a few times. Sam, f**k. Not fixed though The light track bike, i dunno, it's that or a TT bike. Merida do a couple of cheaper full aero bikes, which are ok, mainly alu though.
Sam, the link Rob posted says 0.6. maS, i dunno, i'm pretty good, top out at 34 on my fixed, 42 16. down a small hill Nick, you couldn't even ride a bike till you were 12, then you finally got your stabilisers off when you were 14
I would though. I'll try show you anerley hill on friday, probably the biggest in london/at least the south side of the river... North side, is probably highgate, but that's not all that bad apparently.
Got some DMR trailblades on my fixie now, 100mm sus corrected for barspins with 700c front wheel and disc brake ran through the steerer ***. Won't be for a while though cos i'm gonna have to buy a new front wheel to do that...
Had about 5 inches i reckon. Made a fair size snow cock (unfortunately, it's along the ground, not standing up) about 5 ft long. Been riding about on my fixie doing skids, wheelspins and wheelspin wheelies
Sweet man! Make it after August and you have a fat pants at your stag doo. Gonna have everyone wearing ot pi lycra, with their forum name on the back of it.
Fail. I say we go down the generator route and use a big pa system when you get one again, beach rave, tents, bikes fill up Mikes house, go back there after kip, ride the day... Don't do it too soon, i've gotta build a trials bike back up again. Need front and rear brakes mainly...
