  1. It does, but I have never tried one that light so you can forgive it a bit for its odd styling. My mate bought one and he is not a helmet fan, but he loves it
  2. I usually shop in Chain Reaction for helmets etc. However, I would suggest trying some on in a shop so you know what size you need and what feels comfortable as everyones head is different and everyone has different tastes. If you can stretch your budget though, get an Urge Endur-O-Matic, I know a few riders who have them and they are soo lighweight and are quite cool. But as for what you would need, its is up to your personal taste, be it an XC style helmet like a Bell or a Giro, or a piss pot like Bern or similar.
  3. What type of riding are you doing?? If you were going for some DH then a full face is a must.... If its Trials you probably want either a nice xc lid or a piss pot Dj and Street I would say piss pot Brett
  4. Can't send you any messages as your inbox is full....

Let me know what you have on the middleburn front, got cash waiting if brucies price is right

  5. That looks fun for a few goes, shame its over the other side of the world
  6. Bump, no opinions at all?
  7. Ok I am having a mare of a time getting the right bike / set up that I really feel happy with. So I am considering a lot of different options and ideas and thought I would ask about 24" TGS bikes to see if its a viable route. Had a ET24 in the past which was great as a "big bmx" essentially, but I am a lover of doing a lot of pogo stuff as well. So I have dabbled in a short stock (1025wb) and a long stock (1085wb) over the last few months and I just can't find something that I like... So I was wondering what people thought of them?? Have you had a go?? What do they ride like?? I like the appeal of the smaller wheels but the mid legnth frame, but just curious as to how they actually ride. Anyway, I will stop waffling now. Brett
  8. And just going to bump this back up out of sheer awesomeness... This is my lunchtime treat once a week now
  9. I know, the soundtrack was immense on this video. I always remember the bit in Satan by Orbital where Ashton stacks it off the wall, that song is just classic electro/dance.
  10. Why do you think it is stupid... As it says on the description it gives the best parts of both their pads which sounds like a win/win really (provided that they have bonded the pads effectively so you don't split it at the join). And slagging off Onza as well?? Really?? The company that has given people the ability to buy a half decent, trials specific bike to introduce them to the sport (including myself many moons ago) at a good price is again a winner in my opinion. As an observation, I think you need to really consider what you are planning to say before typing
  11. 12. Goth chicks in chains and leather??
  13. Any luck finding out the wb on this thing??
  14. I'm 28 next Friday so fit into this category. I live in Reading and have been on and off with Trials (now back on) since I was about 15. Been back riding properly since January after 3 - 4 years of riding street mtb and i'm loving it again now the Reading scene has picked back up again
  15. Yeah that's what I thought ha ha.. bit excessive Thanks for the response
  16. Ok I need some help with this as im usually a front vee / magura kind of guy. Recently purchased an avid juicy 3 disc, with post adaptor and a 203mm rotor.... Going to be changing my forks to a set of Try All Forx with a +20 dic tab on it. What I would like to know is whether I will need to decrease the post mount with the Try All Forx or is it easier just to get a smaller rotor?? Any help welcomed. Thanks, Brett
  17. That was massive!! Also love the random no horses sign at 1:51, that made me chukle
  18. Think you got a mention in Clean 01 on the clean website......check it out!!

  19. So there are handful of pictures, im sure you can google/pinkbike any brand of jump frame and find equally as many pictures of frame/part fails. If you hammer a frame from jumping there are always going to be stress points that give after a while, and there are a lovely set of examples of DMR's ones. Still doesn't discredit them as a manufacturer, its just perils of doing the sport that parts break. I stand by my comment.
  20. DMR are definately not snap happy... I know for a fact that Pushbikerider on here has been running the same DMR frame for the last 7 years or so, plus other DJ mates who have or are still running them.
  21. Some of the older style frames are good all rounders, look at Ryan Leech's set up of a frame with a short travel fork that is a good all rounder (infact there are a few of the Canadian / North American riders that all have a similar set up). I reckon you need to just keep an eye out on here and ebay to see what older styled bikes are about. As the 24/26, I tried both and personally I preferred the bigger wheels/short frame combo (so I had a street trials frame built specifically for it). Hope that helps
  22. Well ended up winning in the end... So if you know anyone who is after a cheap brakeless project or similar let me know
  23. Well I know thats not the most genius of moves.. But just wanted to make sure no ones frame had been pikeyed and put up for sale on ebay. Besides if I get outbid, I get outbid....plenty more frames in the sea
  24. Ah cool... Just checking this was legit, as the description seemed a bit basic for a trials rider so just wanted to check if anyone knew of it. Cheers
