Thats the thing im thinking of so the metal creates a new sleeve for it to go into. But i think helicoiling is the one everyone is thinking of, where it has to go up a size. But im pretty sure that one is tapping. cant remamber though
I usuall just get a damp cloth (not wet just slightly damp) and go over it, then with a dry cloth, go over again to get rid of water marks - good and safe!
No, thats what im saying, i prefer straight frames, i think they are stronger, and better made, e.g this is a straight frame and this is a curved frame (I dont know the proper name) And i think straight frames look smarter aswel
Yes, but when you have it RE-Tapped they make new threads, then give it a very thin sleeve the size of the tap in the first place So they make it the original size anyway. I see where your coming from, but theyve already taken that into account Hope that helps :wink2:
This is a pointless thread, practice - also the fact that everyones different, ive done a 4-5ft drop and ive been riding for 1 1/2 months. In my opinion that sucks, but hey, some people learn quicker than others! I would have thought that would have been obvious - guess not
Erm, just clear laquer that you can buy in a spray can? Theres no way youll get the stickers off without taking the laquer off though. Why do you want to anyway? Zip graphics dont look too sad
no , but it will give you more surface area on your tyre so its easier to balance. And letting it down by about 15psi wouldnt make a mega difference, but it will help. You wont hit your rim unless you bounce on a corner of a wall or something, if you let it down about the right amount. Dont make it so the weight of your bike makes the tyre shrink.
