has anyone had the privalage to start riding on their personal £1000+ bike? i very much doubt it,for a start when i started trials i knew maguras where ideal brakes but that was almost it ;so i went and bought a sarecen mad,learnt the basics and invested in new parts till i did have a £1k plus bike .dont forget people that everyone starts as a novice and need a gentle push in the right direction,hence these bikes made by onza. steve

i quite like the geomentry ,except the bb is +20mm when run with a 420mm fork!i bet only bt make 420mm forks .also not to sure on the top tube what are the rrp's for these frames? also ,what colours do they come in? steve

you can actually get square drill bits ,they are used to put square holes in wood.its like a drill bit with chisels that make the hole square. steve

if the brake isnt set up right the disc is sometime pulled accross which lets the disc twist and bend (note my brake has never been like this ) wich in turn lets the wheel move . steve

i believe 10inch is the largest too. i find theres no points going for secound best stuff,get the biggest rotor avaliable for the brake ,then you wont be thinking (if you dont have the desired power) why didnt i get a bigger brake. steve .

dont forget mod-stock ,26" wheels on stock frame with mod size hubs .hope i confused things a little lol. steve

2nd i'd personnally go for a eno if your willing to spend that much on a freewheel. steve

it looks like it,but instead of running the chain through the jockey wheels he just let the chain go over the top wheel . nice bike mate steve

i cant say i've seen any pink hose,maybe phone goodridge up and ask if they could make a one off for you? also ,to save on making a new topic i'll ask here. are goodridge hoses compatable with magura braided brake fittings? steve

i get the mag monthly ,i have a read of it and see whats happening and what parts have been realised,i also read the letters too. but i personally don't like the way trials is almost excluded from the mag,i realise that trials is a minority sport but it still is a discipline of mountion biking so it deserves its place in the mag. i'd like to see hop idol brought back ,and bike reviews on trials bikes ;maybe bringing trials into the lime light by these means will help our sport grow.also if mbuk featured some more trials in there dvd's from the likes of danny mac people will think that trials isn't all about no saddles and big bunny hops. well i've stuck my two pence in now steve

hello,im wanting to change my frame sometime in the next few months,i've been looking through sites seeing whats on the market ,and now i have come a bit stuck . i just realised that i dont really know how frame designs affect the way a bike rides. i know how that a higher bb makes being on the back wheel easyier but picking the front up for a muanual a bit of a bitch,but this is really the only thing i know how frame designs affect riding.so ,here are my questions. . . . 1. what difference do head angles make? 2. what difference does a longer wheel base make compared to a short wheel base? 3. how do chainstay lengths affect a bike? 4. how does different BB shell head tube lengths make a difference? also what moves are generally easyier with certain frame geomentry? oww yeah before people say ,i know that changing stems,bars ,forks etc make a difference . any help gratefull,steve

if i doesn't work just file some material from the rotor.i doubt it'll affect the brake performace. steve

if i was to run a white rim,i'd have black rim tape.if i have a black rim,i'd have white rim tape.but its a personal choice really . steve
