XC helmets are designed to absorb and dissipate the forces from an impact that an XC rider would experience, which tends to be going forewords (unless crabs ride XC bikes?). In trials you tend to fall vertically and can hit your head in all sorts of directions. I agree with you that Specialized make some of the best and safest products available, but that doesn't mean they are suited to Trials also.

Ok, if you pop the BB out it should tell you the width on the casing, it will be either 68mm or 73mm. It should also state the axle length, 125mm for example. Then you need to measure the width of the BB shell on your frame.

How the hell can you not like the look of the Justice... I frequently lubricate all over mine. However I did nearly buy a GU Typhoon instead of the Ashton, and lastnight (when I thought I'd killed it) I decided it would be the 2008 Typhoon Comp that would replace it (untill the new Justice comes out). GO GO GU!
