Yeh, 'cos those disc mounts look beefy! Heh, it could be the best riding bike in the world ever... I'd still be scared to sit down on the top tube though.

    Wots Goin On

E-Z Trials are the worst company EVARZ, Tartybikes and Select bikes are fighting it out at the top of the shop pile. There are more Seniors now than ever (the vast majority being super cool) and there are threads in New Members chat asking why they're not validated and how the members are all horrible to them every 10 seconds. Martyn Ashton is developing his new frame, which features a longer front end, a rear end designed to use a cheese rim (Koxx, V!Z, Onza etc. 47mm'ers) and a worse-than-usual colour scheme. Pink came into fashion briefly, till everyone and his dog started using it, therefore became cool (which by our crazy society's nature, made it uncool again...Confused? Me too) Many people are going the way of the UCI - Long, low and silver frames, with teeny tiny bashrings and front freewheel cranks. White Industries ENO freewheels are the freewheels that make you cool. Kings still rule. Aforementioned Kings can be bought for cheep cheep from Aspirevelotech from the wonderful world of Ebay. People are starting to go back to using a Michelin on the back, after discovering Maxxis SR and ST compounds wear out too quick on streety stuff. Tar = (Y), grinds = :) T-Pro's are EVERYWHERE 99.999% of all Newbies own an Onza Coustellier frames rule for comp people, but the downtubes are about as thick as that Coke can sitting in front of you. Dan Ko started importing "Zoo!" Pitbull and Python frames (under the name of "Black Mamba" for £200 each Everyone who is under 20 and lives in the North bums the f**k out of Craig Lee Scott Matt Staples is the southerner's version of Vincent Hermance. Rain is still the gayest thing since this chap was born. Woody.
  3. I think some people need to re-read what i said with their sarcastic hat on.
  4. Could this be sorted over PM's/MSN when it's back up again?
  5. Sorry to steal your post Sam, this question doesn't deserve it's own topic: Can someone tell me what colour the SOFTEST Koxx Bloxx are? I know they come in Brown, Green, Red and Yellow, i'm fairly sure Brown is the hardest. Anyone know for sure? Cheers (Y)
  6. Microsoft is gay i want to kill Bill Gates with a large spike, MSN is always down i hate it i think they should all be shot it never works and they're all gay i hate them lots.
  7. There's very little difference performance wise, but i found the Comp 16 better for muddier comps as the Comp 24's can get a bit clogged up with mud. Other than that i could see no difference. Comp 16's are less common though, for some reason?
  8. Mine's called 'very small' apparently. That's what she called it anyway, though i prefere Leeroy.
  9. Looks like that Kingfisher green flip paint Jon Fisher had on his forks. Looks pretty good... Though theres something about it that i'm not too keen on. Maybe it's the relatively high seat? Dunno, can't put my finger on it. Nice adaptors
  10. Michelin's are awesome. However if you want the springyness of the Maxxis, get the Maxxis Minion Maxxpro 60a compund in dual ply - I'm running one at the moment and i have been since about January, and there is NO noticeable wear. It doesn't grip as well as a Michelin or a 42/40a Maxxis on wet wood, but on concrete theres no difference in performance. You can buy them from CRC for the same price as the Super Tacky's. I've never had a pinch with either a Michelin or a Maxxis tyre.
  11. CRM's all the way. Never had any problems with them at all, and don't wear out your grind as fast as the harder Koxx Bloxx.

    Appeal Bands

This place sells alot of them  I don't have a band, i was gonna get a Livestrong one when they came out, but suddenly everyone and his dog had one, and it turned into a fashion statement so i decided against it.
  13. I'm not exactly sure mate, i don't know what you need the weight for, but my rough guesstimate would be ~1400g going on other cro-mo forks. Does it say on any of the websites that sell them? I seem to remember B-4-T selling them at one stage, have a looksee on there. Do Mission have a website? Or have a look on some of the Chinese manufacturers websites (theres a list in the FAQ's) - Places like Pulo etc. They might have a similar looking fork with a listed weight. Good luck!

    Yaabaa Frame

Cool name  Has anyone got any pics they can post up here?
  15. Ooh, i still have the bit of paper infront of me from when i measured! Yeh, as has been said tis 165mm (Y) Maybe Mark was away when the thread was posted? Or he didn't see it or something? (BTW if anyone wants any of the other measurements from blue pallets, either search for the topic or wing me a PM (Y) )
  16. This was on OTN ages ago (Y) Either way, it's a good way to make some mohoney!

    Inner Tube

I'm using a no-name tube that i bought from the Bikeshow last year... 10 tubes for £10! I've never had a puncture with it, running a Maxxis Minion. If you run a decent tyre, theres no need for a decent tube.
  22. Le Tigre - This Island Interpol - Antics The Pixies - Greatest hits. The first two were borrowed off Jake, the third was burned off my bro's laptop.

    Koxx Riding Teaser

I've not downloaded the vid (56K  ), but cheers for putting the vid up for everyone Andy, it's good for us Brits to see whats gooing down on the Continent! Unless we visit OTN we rarely see such high quality riding, filming and editing. Cheers dude! Woody (N)
