Basically, got given a frame with one of these bb's in it: http://www.simplythebike.co.uk/product_inf...3fi26b9gc2e76p1 And i need to get it out asap...anyone got any ideas apart from going to LBS ( which ill do on saturday ) Ive tried: screwdriver on the drive side ( i know its reverse threaded ) Clamping bb shell in vice...and nothings worked Any ideas? Anyone have a tool i could borrow?
i think the idea is a serial number can be ground off....whereas this is designed to not be found... Quite a good idea...although i would personally stamp my initials some where weird on the bike.....like on the inside of one of the two top-tube braces on my pitbull
well when you overbleed it....the pistons stick out farther than they normally would ( when the levers not being pulled ) If you add to that full on tpa ( bolt bodged one ) you could prbably make the pads reach past the prongs...making the brake a bit on the lethal side....hows about some tensile offset mounts?
ive used heatsink xmas pads and koxx browns with tar...both have been pretty good... To appl;y tar, spin the rear wheel, and hold the tar against it until theres a thin line around the wheel If you need some, pm me
exactly..short frame, medium length chain stays, around zero bb ...perfect for a beginner...my mates just got a t-raptor and i really like it....personal choice i suppose but i think they're sweet frames for the money
They're virtually bombproof...however if you dont already have one i wouldn't hedge your bets on actually being able to source a good one as they arent being made any more and are fairly rare....probably a dx32 would be your best bet as there are quite a few floating round at the moment
