  1. nice little vid... great place hook woods for the motorcycle and cycle stuff. That answers that question... wasn't sure of who you were when i took this...
  2. It's stunning... be a shame to spoil it by putting me on top of it!!! Only thing i would worry about, and that is because i am crap and 14 stone, is the rear axle/adjuster area... how many bad and heavy landings will it put up with. You have a long leverage trying to force the aluminium apart either side of that rear axle carrier.
  3. I took this at the animal/relentless show at wsm this summer.... ... nothing wrong with a plain colour i say!!
  4. Nice frame but sadly at the exchange rate now that is nearly £500...
  5. sweet riding spot... where is that? .. I want one!
  6. You thinking of trying that gap then Tony... i'll bring the video camera and my phone pre programmed for 999
  7. Resolve was put together in the dark i reckon.... how many colours!!! Much preferred the bare metal look of Ben's bike at the Hook woods round.
  8. Got to say... the Effect looks ok but i think the Resolve was created by someone that was colour blind and told to just pick bits out of the parts bin!!
  9. Hello mate... more life here You on a cycle as well now?
  10. Hey Jon... just to prove this 43 year old does actually ride it... ... and yes, my bum does look big in this!
  11. no worries... if it is ok with you i will give you some cash next week for the bars. Just sold my Echo, Rohloff, spare bars and stem, Isis BB etc to an ex 10 times british champion and runner up in the world (motorcycles)!!!
  12. I think it would look good with a General Lee graphics kit
  13. nice mate... work better than the cranks
  14. ... and at your age it probably will I agree with Tony... his BB7 is very good. My Hope is good for modulation but i am going for EBC reds to try and get it to stop solid.
  15. not a mod man... but that is nice.
  16. Nice to see some sections stuff... and at 1.28 i swore i saw my flashgun go off at hookwoods
  17. Cheers for that... yes i do think a higher stem may be in order. But money is tight until pay day so will play as it is and see how i get on.
  18. Took me by surprise when i did my first back-hop... comes up so quick!! Those Middleburns are about 8 years old i guess... had them on my Sunn and Rocket back in the day!! Early type rs-hd's. Normal spider instead of that weird star type thing with the lock ring. Only thing is that it means you have to use a 22 sprocket and the A2 has very low rear stays... required a bit of a change around with rear spacers etc to stop the chain slapping against it. The Hifi's look good on there and are nice and stiff... and the rear v is brilliant. Won't be looking for a maggie at this stage.
  19. no luck with them there screw on type cranks... back to the old faithful Middleburn RS-hd's
  20. Thats the trouble with us old people... we forget and change our minds a lot!! Fancied seeing what it was all about this higher BB lark... just built this up this afternoon... .. Adamant A2 frame with middleburns and the rest of the stuff off my Pure. feels nice... Big thanks to Tartybikes for good advice and very quick service for some parts i needed to complete the change over.
  21. ... just obtained an Adamant A2 stock frame. See how that feels with the higher BB and decide what to keep
  22. although the wrong way round.... is bloody lovely. Nicest bike i have seen.
  23. it'll do me for now... i am a beginner so will either break it doing something simple or get something else as i improve ... if i improve!!
  24. Yes... only a limited supply though i was told.
