  1. Right another quick question as I've never really decently set up a v brake! Which hole do i stick the spring into? I assume the higher the hole the more tension but what would be the best set up for a front? Loads of tension or none? Thanks
  2. In all fairness it'd probablly take longer to crack it out than it'd last...

    Pad Isues

My plazzies are lovely for me on a light grind, but most people rave about the rock pads and the like check out tartybikes they have loads of different pads and lots of info. For joypads I think you'll have to pm Ali C as they're his!
  4. Aah okie dokie that makes sense thank you!!
  5. Aaah kool, Right I'm sorry but i don't quite understand what you mean by slackest? I would've thought 135 would be slacker than 90?
  6. Right just found out I'm noodleless! Are there any difference between the different brands and their noodles? Which do you find to work the best? What angle do people recommend?

  13. Right sorted everything out except the pad issues! As I'm running on a bit of a budget I was contemplating getting these http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2005 and using the pads off my maggie. But do they work well?
  14. I've got 2 plazzy on a lightish grind and they give the loudest squeak ive heard and have amazing bite (in the dry) just set them up wear them in and be a bit patient

  16. Rigth I recently broke my front maggie lever body and after working out how much it will cost me to replace and fix I think I'm going to get a front vee as it will help me in the long run (possible upgrade to a bb7 when i sort my wheels etc out). So I've used the search and come to the conclusion that I already have some deore cantilevers lying around and I'm going to get an Avid SD7 brake lever (if I can find a single lever, any ideas where?) but I'm not sure what cables etc to get, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  17. Just put a bit more pressure in your tube! Much cheaper and will lower the risk of pinch flats
  18. Does anyone have a video of them doing it from flat up a curb? I just want to see what the rear wheel does! I can do the switch fine just the first bit!
  19. I have tried something that was higher but it didn't make much difference Might have to try from further away when it stops snowing!
  20. Right I'm really struggling with this! I keep trying from flat up a curb and it doesn't seem to want to work I a little hop then preload and hop again throwing my weight forward and putting the front wheel where I want it to go and manage to get my rear wheel onto the curb, but in doing this my rear wheel never seems to leave the ground. it feels like I'm just rolling along then flicking myself up the curb! I just don't seem to be able to commit the back and the front end at the same time what am I doing wrong? Any help would be ace!! ty
