You've sunk to new lows Ryan. I'd like to see the youtube link?

To an extent yes, as pretty much any pad grips using tar. However, with Deng pads such as the Echo's I use have quite a tacky feel on a smooth rim without tar (where-as with a harder pad it just slips). Therefore I only need to put a small tad of tar on my rim just give it a bit of lock. When I used standard magura blacks the pads really stuck to the rim, good hold but not good when you want to quickly let the brake off.

I probably won't be on tonight, but may be good to do in future. Tommorow night? 10? 6 people would be cool, we could have a team what could our clan tag be? [DENG], [KOXX], [tf], [ZOO!]?

Well I'm sure the majority of us have a bag to carry parts and spares on a ride, or possibly a car to store them in. Whats in your bag?, what bag is it?, what is the most random item in the bag? In mine I have; phone, wallet, iPod, camera, tar, allen keys, spanners, tube, grips, sidehop tape, drink and a pump. I remember I packed a lunch for a ride once, and left a penguin bar in the front compartment, I forgot about it and then found it about 3 weeks later, oooh snacks. I was in the habit of using my bikehut/camelbak bag but I can't store enough in it so I went back to a normal backpack. Whats in your bag?

Best Moments And Worst Moments Of Trials
Captain Scarlet replied to Rob Feeley!'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Best moments I have in trials (more than one), is riding natural on rocks, finding a line and doing it clean and smooth. Worst moment, probably when I snapped my chain, it didn't snap on a big move, but just after so it was the shock that it could have snapped during the gap. -
DHL, you pay for it online and they come and collect, I've had no problems with them.

Echo pads, smooth rim, and some tar. Also worthwhile investing in a booster if you don't already have one.

Certainly were, its a shame though there was going to be a quintology of Oddworld Games. Apparently they are coming back, but it won't beat the original, makes me wanna dig out my PS1 and the games. It was tough for my new username, it was either Albino Slig, Captain Scarlet or Dr. John A. Zoidberg. Oh well, you'll soon see another one in 6 months time.

Is it an internal or external headset? I think the crown race is just one general size or shape so its universal to most headsets (or am I wrong?) If theres a few bits missing it may be worth buying a new headset as I had a few seals missing when I had my Onza internal headset and they are not readily available seperately on a cheap and simple headset.

Ask Danny Holroyd.

I listed my previous names in my signature, so that way people can recognise me, like a name badge. Does anyone have Dan Clarke's "Rofl Harris" avatar, used to be so iconic to me.

I went in a blue one of these with some mates yesterday, whilst playing drum and bass from the speakers full blast ahaha. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plymouth_Savoy We kinda knew the guy, and he didn't want no money for the journey just a bottle of wine which was easy. Pretty much everyone turned up in white limos, was funny afterwards as everyone tried working out which one was theirs.

Do you ride mod or stock? Anything stock is generally no lower then 170mm. I'm running 160mm on my mod, and they are fine for me, however my friend swears by his 170mm's and apparently can get mroe leverage from them. This being correct, the leverage would make the gearing lower which in some cases could be quite beneficial.

Meh I couldn't really get into GTA4, (although all I ever do on GTA is free roam anyways). So yea I'm all COD4, and will get back into Forza (I had to start again when my brother "accidently" deleted my account). I've also started Test Drive Unlimited if anyone plays that, and I've got Grid waiting to be played.

Just ride your bike, who really needs a super light bike? Only time I'll think about getting a light bike would be when I am an incredibly good rider and loosing 1-2kg in weight would be a massive improvement to my riding. At the moment, I'll be progressing for years, so its best if I stick with something heavy and make it all the more easier when I do switch to a lightweight bike.

Sidehopping over stuff, such as tape or a bar as you can put lots of energy into it, and you move your whole body to make the bike clear the tape, much like a high jump, feels brilliant to think you can actually clear something in that manner. I'm also fond of pulling a big manual when I see a big hill, its a real crowd pleaser and feels so smooth. I'm really into the reverse nose manual like Danny Mac does, and been practicing it on small inclines. Also spins, you put your whole body effort into it and use your momentum to get a full 360 spin, but also front hops and sometimes attempting a G-Turn (damn buggers are so hard). I can't choose which of those is my favourite though, they all feel amazing to do.

Just looks like a Zap Tap starting from rear wheel to me? Or am I missing something?

How many months until Danny McAskil has this kind of trick dialed?

I've used Sony Vegas for quite some time now, mainly because its easy to create a good video without too much knowledge and effort. But with a bit of time and skill it can be used to create quite elabourate videos. Alternatively Windows Movie Maker is always improving and is a lot better than when I first started using it, thats a good choice so long as you don't go over the top on the effects.

Thats really good to think of it that way, wish a lot of people like you saw riding this way. Too many people upgrade their bike for the sake of it, and that way it doesn't benefit them when they become a better rider.
