If your really lucky you'd get around £40 for the frame and £20 for the forks, they're hardly worth anything any more.

Can you fit a longer bolt in there? I assume not or you would have already tried it, but just an idea. I always replace them straight away, the standard bolt is a good 4mm too short, so if you put a longer one in straight away it should last a lot longer. I'd try using chemical metal, you could stick it on, then drill and tap it. It might work for a while, from what I've heard it's brilliant stuff, providing you thoroughly sand or shotblast the surface first.

Don't do the 4 light grill Jardo, they look awful. That rocco looks evil, pity it's got the uber gay euro stretched tyre thing going on though, standard tyres on it and space them in properly and it would look amazing.

I ran my bike with no bash for a while, didn't do any damage at all I could see! (I only went to crank once or twice on concrete stuff, loads on my pallets out the back though). 6'1" and 135lbs, nice going Jon. I was about 160-165lbs the whole time I rode with a rear hope with a 160 rotor on the back, it was fine when it was bedded in properly, but I'd still rather have that bit extra holding power, mine did slip when I landed on the edge of a gap.

Give that a set of t-pro forks and a pair of green 05 HS33s and that would be identical to mine when I first got it, right down to the completely slick tyres. Good start mate, I wouldn't upgrade anything though, or you'll do what I did and upgrade everything. You'd get £200-250 for that second hand, put another £250 to it and you could get an amazing spec bike. I just sold my DD 08 Echo Lite with all Monty TI parts and carbon forks for £480, bikes just arn't worth anything at the moment!

I didn't know that, but it will hardly make a difference, the rotors diametre is 10mm larger, so it will only be slightly harder to catch it. I never managed to hit my rotor on a mod, the tyre always pushed it out of the way is the front tyre was on the wall. For ultimate power I've found a magura louise is best, but they have almost no modulation and a really wooden lever feel.

I'd avoid the carbon lever blades if I were you, they are very comfy, and very pimp, and very light, but realistically they save f**k all weight, cost the earth, break really easilyand are far more flexible than the aluminium ones. (I only mean the old 06 and below blades). I'm using an 07/08 standard Mono Trial with an 06 lever blade, because I love them to bits. A 160 on a mod is fine, but I once rode one with a 180 and it was definately worth the extra weight if you ask me! It was immense.

What rear hub/freewheel is that? I'd cut those stem bolts down if I were you, they'll have your kneecap off before long.

Why? The olives and shrouds work so much better. My brake has a monty splitter and two M8/M6 slaves so each line can have an olive and shroud, and I've just blanked off each bleed bolt.

Yeh, couldn't get on the disc on a stock wheel, everything flexed too much for my liking. CJ is so cool, he's like that little annoying kid who lived down the roadwho you all pretended to hate, even though you know it wouldn't be the same without him.

Standard Wellgo MG-1s off ebay I'd say. Grippy, fairly light, fairly strong if you don't kick the shit out of them, and about £35 on ebay. Linky You could buy second hand instead aswell, they go for about £20 on here.
