You're not comparing like with like. 2 stroke scooters are very reliable compared to Mitos or RS125s, which are essentially race bikes. Everyone should ride MZ ETZ300's, properly reliable 2 strokes!

Hmmmm the police are often actually quite open to a bit of lying, and would likely be up for telling him a bit of a story, like it was spotted driving to your house on some CCTV that they were reviewing in relation to another investigation? If you know where he is storing it, just report that. Any passer by could have reported seeing it if they recognised it.

Indeed, that's why he's selling it. He's 54, a bit weak and about 11 stone, so he can't ride it properly any more without it wheelieing or going sideways. He prefers bikes like mine now haha. 50bhp or so in a bike that lets you use all of them

I saw 6 germans riding through Whitby recently on those R1200GSs. All had the same colour bikes, identicle flip up helmets with microphones and identicle jackets and trousers with BMW badges on. I laughed so hard that I pissed a little in my pants and had to run to the toilet to finish myself off. Possibly the most German thing I've ever seen in my life! Those 800s do look like the perfect bike for exploring the world on. I do fancy one!

The only bike I've ever dropped was my trials bike, and that was only ever due to bumpy bits. Just trying to work out how to persuade my Dad to let me have a go on his Bandit 12 before he sells it.

That's mental, can't even begin to think how they might make that decision. I've got a twin step-brother and sister, definitely couldn't choose between them!
