  1. (1st Choice) Web Information Systems and Services. Computing. Computer Aided Engineering + Design. Mechanical + Automotive Engineering Mechanical + Computer Aided Design. Not even had my UCAS pack through yet. All at Sheffield Hallam.
  2. I use dreamweaver here, but I'm not risking installing illegal software at work and then leaving them to their own devices, I could loose my job.
  3. I've done a lot of searching tonight, and I can't find anything that does what I want, I need it for work tommorrow so please help if you can. I need some free web design software with a wysiwyg editor that can edit files that are stored on the server via FTP. This is because the people I work with need to be able to change information on the website themselves at a moments notice. Any help is much appreciated!
  4. Clearly you must be thick, can't you see that he would have weighed it himself if he could? He's asking for someone to tell him roughly how much they think it would weigh, how could you miss that?
  5. You can just about see the lower mount, but it's covered up by the circle.
  6. No You don't, it was f**king awful and completely useless. All we did for 2 years was make things out of 6mm thick steel that required a lot of filing.
  7. You do options in Y9 now? We got to pick between french and german. For my GCSEs though I chose IT, Engineering (Double Award), and Geography.
  8. Get a Front Try-All and a rear Monty, that would save a fair bit over Creepy Crawlers. The forks and wheels will be where most of the weight can be lost though.
  9. They're awful, when the head rounds out you can't get them out easily. I use stainless allen key bolts from my Dad's works, they'll pull the threads from the hub before the snap or the allen socket rounds off.
  10. Yesterday you were, "selling up, had enough of trials, f**k it. " Bike looks amazing anyway, I'd love one of these.

    Pad Reviews

I've got a Kot MS2 frame with a 47mm rim, so with my brothers maggy I've borrowed with Tensile mounts, the slaves are about 6-8mm in from their furthest out position, but the pads are powerpad backings with about 3-4mm of pad left, so I think it will be tight. I'm getting offset mounts anyway, theres not a lot more I can do haha.

Anyone got the new PhatPads in the CNC backings? Just bought a set, apparantly they're amazing from what I've heard but I just wondered if anyone had any of the new ones yet?

    Hub Help!

You are joking surely? The difference between 18:12 - 18:13 and 16:13 - 16:14 is huge, and those are just the ratios I've used. I'm pretty sure the smallest wide base sprockets you can get are 12t, but if you get a skinny base one you can get 11t ones.

    Rage Bar 09

If they're anything like the old rage bars then they'll be nothing like TrialTechs, my TrialTechs seem kinda half way between Monty TIs/Rages and the newer Deng risers.
  15. Because then I couldn't change gear while I was out as easily, I worked surprisingly well, I only put it back because I started doing more XC.

    Is Msn f**ked?

Yes, Jeff keeps signing in and out aswell.
  17. On my old jump bike I snapped the gear cable for the front mech, so I took the shifter and cable off and found a stone that was just the right size to hold the mech far enough away from the frame to use the second chainring. I left it in for at least 6 months, when I wanted the first ring I just took the stone out, then put it back in when I wanted the second ring.
  18. The best thing would be the forks, they're 1400g, a set of Echo Lites are 840g. Depending on what tyres you have, you can save a lot of weight there. The stem and headset won't save a fat lot when you're running Onza wheels and forks.
  19. Chain Reaction have nearly all the spares I think, and I've used Dot 3, 4 and 5.1 before and it's been fine. EDIT: I heard of one guy bleeding it one with water, it didn't even last 1 ride.
  20. 5 times heavier I believe.
  21. It doesn't really, but they seem to last longer because the rollers have more surface area on the pins, so they don't wear as fast.
  22. Stick with the louise mate, going off my experience of the front ones it would be better in some ways than a hope on the rear. That looks amazing, I've only seen them with red rims before, much prefer it with white though.
  23. Your scales are dead, that wouldn't even save 250g.
